| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian yang berjudul strategi subtitle dalam tindak tutur komisif pada film Crisis on Infinite Earths part 1-5 bertujuan untuk menemukan tipe tidak tutur komisisf dan strategi subtitle yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan tindak tutur komisif. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik total sampling diterapkan untuk menentukan sampel-sampelnya. Data dari penelitian ini adalah ucapan-ucapan karakter-karakter di Crisis on Infinite Earths part 1-5. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan empat tipe tindak tutur komisif di film ini, diantaranya promise 37.5%, threat 15%, warning 5%, dan offer 42.5%. Offer menjadi tipe yang paling sering digunakan, karena sebagai tim pahlawan super, mereka akan menawarkan bantuan untuk membantu satu sama lain. Sedangkan untuk strategi subtitle, hasilnya sebagai berikut: Transfer (52%), Paraphrase (19.5%), Imitation (19.5%), Condensation (2%), dan Deletion (6.5%). Transfer menjadi strategi yang paling sering muncul karena gaya Bahasa yang digunakan di film ini mudah dipahami, percakapan antar karakter menggunakan gaya Bahasa yang familiar. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, peneliti lain diharapkan untuk melakukan analisis tentang tindak tutur komisif dan startegi subtitle di objek yang berbeda, contohnya musik atau video games agar hasil yang diraih bias lebih beragam. |

Inggris) | The research entitled Subtitling Strategies of Commissive Speech Act in Movie Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1-5 is aimed to discover the types of commissive speech act and the subtitling strategies that are used to translate commissive speech act. This research was conducted using qualitative method. Total sampling was applied to determine the samples. The data of this research are the utterances of the characters in Crisis on Infinite Earths part 1-5. The result of this research showed that there are four types of commissive speech act used in this movie, they are: promise 37.5%, threat 15%, warning 5%, and offer 42.5%. Offer becomes the most used strategy in this movie, because as a team of superhero, they will offer themselves to help out each other. As for the subtitling strategies, the results are: Transfer (52%), Paraphrase (19.5%), Imitation (19.5%), Condensation (2%), and Deletion (6.5%). Transfer became the most frequent strategy used because the language that is used in the movie is easy to understand the dialogue uses a familiar diction. For further research, other researchers are expected to conduct analysis about commissive speech act and subtitling strategies in different objects, for example music or video games in order to diversify the result. |
