| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratotium Jurusan Perikanan dan Kelautan Fakultas Sains dan Tehnik Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Objek yang diamati berupa Cherax.quadricarinatus dengan berat 3 + 0,69 g. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui laju pertumbuhan spesifik Cherax .quadricarinatus yang diberi Tubifex sp dan pakan buatan dengan jumlah yang berbeda dan mengetahui jumlah pakan yang menghasilkan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik terbaik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental berdasarkan rancangan lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah jumlah pemberian pakan yaitu P1 = 100g Tubifex sp, P2 = 75g Tubifex dan 25g buatan, P3 = 50g Tubifex sp dan 50g buatan, P4 = 25g Tubifex dan 75g buatan, P5 = 100g buatan. Variabel utama yang diamati adalah laju pertumbuhan spesifik. Parameter utama yang diamati yaitu berat Cherax quadricarinatus. Parameter pendukung berupa temperatur, O2 terlarut dan pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju pertumbuhan spesifik Cherax quadricarinatus tidak berbeda nyata. Nilai rata-rata laju pertumbuhan spesifik dari perlakuan P1, P2, P3, P4 dan P5 masing-masing adalah 0,82 %; 0,99 %; 1,23%; 0,99% dan 0,91%. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air yang meliputi temperatur, pH dan oksigen terlarut berturut-turut rentang nilainya adalah 25-29 °C; 7; dan 4,2-2,6 ppm. Semua parameter kualitas air yang diamati sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup Cherax quadricarinatus.

Objects that are observed in the form Cherax.quadricarinatus weighing 3 + 0.69 g. The purpose of this study is to know the specific growth rate Cherax. Quadricarinatus fed Tubifex sp and artificial feed with different numbers and determine the amount of feed that generates the best value for the specific growth rate. The research method used is based on the design of a complete experimental (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment given is the amount of feed that is P1 = 100g Tubifex sp, P2 = 75g Tubifex and 25g artificial feed, P3 = 50g Tubifex sp and 50g artificial feed, P4 = 25g Tubifex and 75g artificial feed, P5 = 100g artificial feed. The main variable is the observed specific growth rate. The main parameters are observed heavy Cherax quadricarinatus. Parameter support in the form of temperature, dissolved O2 and pH.
