Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media tanam pada persemaian cabai merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house dimulai dari persemaian cabai merah kemudian kegiatan analisis sampel di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Unsoed pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2021. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial. Jenis perlakuan yang diuji terdiri dari sepuluh perlakuan konsentrasi dengan tiga kali ulangan yaitu M0= tanah, M1= tanah+pupuk kandang, M2= tanah+sekam bakar, M3= tanah+pupuk kandang+sekam bakar, M4= sekam bakar, M5= sekam bakar+sekam mentah, M6= tanah+serbuk gergaji+pupuk kandang, M7= tanah+sabut kelapa+pupuk kandang, M8= sekam bakar+kompos, M9= sekam bakar+pupuk kandang. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis varian. Apabila hasil analisis varian berbeda nyata, maka dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan DMRT pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan komposisi media tanam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan pada semai cabai merah.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This study aims to determine the effect of planting media composition on red chili nurseries. The research was carried out in a screen house starting from a red chili nursery and then sample analysis activities at the Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory of the Unsoed Faculty of Agriculture from September to October 2021. The experimental design used was a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). The type of treatment tested consisted of ten concentration treatments with three replications, namely M0 = soil, M1 = soil + manure, M2 = soil + burnt husk, M3 = soil + manure + burnt husk, M4 = burnt husk, M5 = husk burnt + raw husk, M6 = soil + sawdust + manure, M7 = soil + coconut husk + manure, M8 = burnt husk + compost, M9 = burnt husk + manure. The data obtained were then analyzed by analysis of variance. If the results of the analysis of variance were significantly different, then further tests were carried out using DMRT at an error rate of 5%. The results showed that the treatment with the composition of the growing media did not significantly affect all observation variables on red chili seedlings.
