| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh perbedaan komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman jagung dan perkembangan mikoriza. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2018 di screen house Desa Purwosari, Kecamatan Baturaden, Kabupaten Banyumas dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acar Kelompok Non Faktorial dengan 6 komposisi media dengan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah komposisi media tanam pasir-zeolit terdiri dari 0% pasir-100% zeolite, 20% pasir-80% zeolite, 40% pasir-60% zeolite, 60% pasir-40% zeolite, 80% pasir-20% zeolite dan 100% pasir-0% zeolite. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tanam yang didomiansi zeolite menghasilkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering dan bobot akar kering terbaik. Media tanam 60% pasir-40% zeolite menghasilkan jumlah spora dan infeksi mikoriza tertinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Research aim to examine the effect of differences in the composition of the growing media on maize growth and mycorrhizal development. The research was conducted from July to October 2018 at the screen house in Purwosari Village, Baturaden District, Banyumas Regency and the Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Sudirman University. The experimental design used was the Non-Factorial Group Pickled Design with 6 media compositions with 4 replications. The treatment that was tried was the composition of the sand-zeolite growing media consisting of 0% sand-100% zeolite, 20% sand-80% zeolite, 40% sand-60% zeolite, 60% sand-40% zeolite, 80% sand-20% zeolite and 100% sand-0% zeolite. The results showed that the composition of the growing media which was dominated by zeolite resulted in the best growth in plant height, number of leaves, fresh crown weight, dry crown weight and root dry weight. The growing media of 60% sand-40% zeolite produced the highest number of spores and mycorrhizal infections. |
