Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1)mengetahui status unsur hara K di lahan sawah Kecamatan Kemangkon, Kabupaten Purbalingga, 2)mengetahui hubungan anara ketersediaan unsur hara K dan serapan K dengan hasil tanaman padi di lahan sawah Kecamatan Kemangkon, Kabupaten Purbalingga, dan 3)menentukan rekomendasi pemupukan K di lahan sawah Kecamatan Kemangkon, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2021 sampai Februari 2022 di Kecamatan Kemangkon, Kabupaten Purbalingga dan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei tanah semi detail dengan pengambilan titik sampel berdasarkan SLH. Pengambilan sampel tanah dan jaringan tanaman dilakukan secara komposit. Variabel yang diamati meliputi pH (H2O), pH (KCl), Daya Hantar Listrik (DHL) tanah, potensial redoks tanah, K-tersedia tanah, serapan K oleh jaringan tanaman, dan hasil wawancara dengan petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata status unsur hara K di lokasi penelitian termasuk ke dalam harkat tinggi sebesar 0,62 cmol(+)kg-1. Rekomendasi pemupukan K di lokasi penelitian diberikan pada kandungan K-tersedia tanah yang termasuk ke dalam harkat sedang yang berkisar antara 44,93-190,94 kg K2O/ha atau setara dengan 62,40-265,20 kg KCl/ha.

Inggris)The objectives of this research were to 1)determine potassium status in a paddy field at Kemangkon District, Purbalingga Regency, 2)determine the correlation between potassium availability and its absorption by plant tissue and rice yield in a paddy field at Kemangkon District, Purbalingga Regency, and 3)determine recommendation of potassium fertilization in a paddy field at Kemangkon District, Purbalingga Regency. This research was conducted from September 2021 until February 2022 at Kemangkon District, Purbalingga Regency and Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. This research used semi-detailed soil survey with sampling technique determined based on the homogeneous land unit system. Soil and plant tissue sampling were conducted compositely. Observed variables are, pH (H2O), pH (KCl), electrical conductivity (EC) of soil, oxidation/reduction potential (Eh), potassium availability, potassium uptake by plant tissue, and data result from interviewing farmers. The results showed that the average potassium availability in the research’ site included as a high level which is 0,62 cmol(+)kg-1. Recommendation od potassium fertilization is given to each location that still has a medium level in potassium availability in soil, which ranged between 44,93–190,94 kg K2O/ha or equal to 62,40–265,20 kg KCl/ha.
