| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Persaingan antar perusahaan dalam segala jenis bidang usaha semakin tinggi akibat meningkatnya perkembangan dunia bisnis di Indonesia. Persaingan bisnis yang ketat seringkali memaksa perusahaan untuk menciptakan strategi yang lebih efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan sehingga dapat bersaing dengan para kompetitor. Banyak faktor yang dapat memengaruhi kinerja perusahaan baik yang berasal dari dalam perusahaan (internal) maupun dari luar perusahaan (eksternal). Salah satu faktor eksternal yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap perusahaan adalah politik, sedangkan salah satu faktor internalnya adalah corporate governance. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini yaitu kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang diukur menggunakan ROE. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen koneksi politik, ukuran dewan komisaris, kepemilikan institusional, dan kepemilikan pemerintah serta variabel kontrol ukuran perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan infrastruktur, transportasi, property, logistic, dan real estate yang diperoleh dari website bursa efek Indonesia tahun 2019. Sampel yang dianalisis sejumlah 72 data laporan keuangan perusahaan. Model analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan aplikasi IMB SPSS 25.0. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa koneksi politik dan kepemilikan pemerintah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Ukuran dewan komisaris dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Competition between companies in all types of business fields is getting higher due to the increasing development of the business world in Indonesia. Tight business competition often forces firms to create more effective and efficient strategies in improving firm’s performance so that they can compete with competitors. Many factors can affect the firm’s performance both from within the firm (internal) and from outside the firm (external). One of the external factors that have an influence on the firm is politics, while one of the internal factors is corporate governance. The dependent variable in this study is the firm’s financial performance as measured by ROE. This study uses the independent variables of political connections, size of the board of commissioners, institutional ownership, and government ownership as well as the control variable of firm size. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual reports of infrastructure, transportation, property, logistics, and real estate firms obtained from the Indonesian stock exchange website in 2019. The sample analyzed is 72 firm’s financial statement data. The data analysis model uses multiple linear regression analysis with the application of IMB SPSS 25.0. This study concludes that political connections and government ownership have no effect on the firm's financial performance. The size of the board of commissioners and institutional ownership affect the firm’s financial performance. |
