| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menggunakan objek penelitian berupa konsep ganbaru pada tokoh utama perempuan Etsuko Kono dalam drama Jepang yang berjudul “Jimi ni Sugoi”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan representasi konsep ganbaru tokoh Etsuko Kono dalam drama Jepang Jimi ni Sugoi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori semiotika John Fiske (The Codes of Television) yang terbagi menjadi tiga level analisis yaitu level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya konsep ganbaru pada keseharian Etsuko Kono yang terjadi dalam drama Jepang Jimi ni Sugoi, yang di analisis melaui tiga level kode televisi milik John Fiske. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan 16 data dari potongan adegan dan 14 data dari dialog dalam drama yang mebunjukkan adanya konsep ganbaru. Hasil pada level realitas menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara kode kostum dan kode gerakan dari Etsuko yang merepresentasikan suatu konsep ganbaru. Lalu hasil pada level representasi yaitu pada kode dialog yang menunjukkan adanya konsep ganbaru. Kemudian hasil pada level ideologi ditemukan ideologi feminisme yang mendukung konsep ganbaru pada Etsuko Kono seperti bagaimana arti dari konsep ganbaru tersebut. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study uses the object of research in the form of a new concept for the female main character Etsuko Kono in the Japanese drama entitled "Jimi ni Sugoi". The purpose of this study is to describe the representation of the ganbaru concept by Etsuko Kono's character in the Japanese drama Jimi ni Sugoi. This research uses John Fiske's semiotic theory approach (The Codes of Television) which is divided into three levels of analysis, namely the level of reality, the level of representation and the level of ideology. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The result of this research is the discovery of ganbaru concept in Etsuko Kono's daily life that occurs in the Japanese drama Jimi ni Sugoi, which is analyzed through three levels of John Fiske's television code. Based on analysis found 16 data from scene cuts and 14 data from dialogues in dramas which show the existence of ganbaru concept. The results at the reality level show that there is a relationship between the costume code and the movement code from Etsuko which represents the ganbaru concept. Then the results at the representation level are in the dialogue code which shows the existence of ganbaru concept. Then the results at the ideological level found the ideology of feminism that supports the ganbaru concept in Etsuko Kono such as what the meaning of the ganbaru concept is. |
