| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian feed additive sebagai pengganti antibiotik terhadap persentase karkas bagian dada dan paha ayam broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Ketapang Farm, Kecamatan Sokaraja, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian menggunakan 120 ekor DOC yang dibagi ke dalam 24 unit kandang. Fase pemeliharaan dilakukan 2 fase yaitu fase starter DOC umur 1-14, kemudian fase perlakuan mulai umur 15-35 hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdapat 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan dengan perlakuan yang diberi antibiotik Olaquindox sebesar 0,125% (R0), probiotik Promix 0,2% (R1), fitobiotik (tepung bawang putih 0,04%, kunyit 0,8%, dan jahe 0,8%) (R2), dan Acidifier Acidtec 401 1% (R3). Peubah yang diukur yaitu persentase karkas bagian dada dan paha. Rataan persentase karkas bagian paha dengan perlakuan pakan berupa penambahan antibiotik olaquindox 0,125% (R0) adalah 10,65±1,08%, probiotik Promix 0,2% (R1) adalah 11,05±1,00%, acidifier Acidtec-401 1% (R2) sebesar 10,09±1,34 % dan fitobiotik (bawang putih 0,04%, kunyit dan jahe masing masing 0,8%) (R3) sebesar 11,24±0,76%. Rataan persentase karkas bagian dada ayam broiler yang diberi antibiotik olaquindox 0,125% adalah 25,30¬±1,74% (R0), probiotik Promix 0,2% adalah 25,56±1,39 % (R1), acidifier Acidtec-401 1% sebesar 27,28±0,98 (R2) dan fitobiotik (bawang putih 0,04%, kunyit dan jahe masing masing 0,8%) sebesar 26,38±1,52% (R3). Penambahan feed additive dalam pakan mampu menggantikan peran antibiotik dalam pakan. Kata kunci: Feed additive, karkas, ayam broiler, antibiotik, probiotik, acidifer, fitobiotik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study aim to determine the effect of feed additives as a substitute for antibiotics on the percentage of carcasses of the breast and thighs of broiler. The research was conducted at Ketapang Farm, Sokaraja District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The experimental material used 120 DOC which were divided into 24 cage units. The maintenance phase was carried out in 2 phases, namely the DOC starter phase aged 1-14, then the treatment phase starting at the age of 15-35 days. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD), there were 4 treatments and 6 replications with treatment given 0.125% Olaquindox (R0) antibiotics, 0.2% Promix probiotics (R1), phytobiotics (0.04% garlic flour). , turmeric 0.8%, and ginger 0.8%) (R2), and Acidifier Acidtec 401 1% (R3). The variables measured were the percentage of the chest and thigh carcass. The average percentage of the thigh carcass with feed treatment in the form of adding 0.125% olaquindox antibiotic (R0) was 10.65±1.08%, Promix 0.2% (R1) was 11.05±1.00%, acidifier Acidtec-401 1% (R2) was 10.09±1.34% and phytobiotics (garlic 0.04%, turmeric and ginger were 0.8% each) (R3) were 11.24±0.76%. The average percentage of broiler chicken breast carcass treated with 0.125% olaquindox antibiotics was 25.30¬±1.74% (R0), Promix 0.2% probiotic was 25.56±1.39% (R1), acidifier Acidtec-401 1% was 27.28±0.98 (R2) and phytobiotics (garlic 0.04%, turmeric and ginger 0.8% each) were 26.38±1.52% (R3).
