Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penanaman adalah kegiatan penting dalam budidaya padi. Pada tahun 2018 Kurniawan melakukan penelitian alat tanam padi manual yang disesuaikan dengan kebiasaan para petani di Indonesia. Penggunaan alat tanam padi manual dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pertanian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) Mengevaluasi kinerja alat tanam padi manual dan 2) Mengetahui kemampuan kerja alat tanam padi manual pada berbagai tingkat pelumpuran lahan dan umur bibit padi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat tanam padi manual untuk mengetahui kinerja alat dengan menentukan beberapa tingkat pelumpuran (antara 80-85%, 85-90%, dan 90-95%) dan umur bibit padi (15 hss,20 hss, dan 25 hss), variabel yang diamati yaitu jarak tanam dalam baris, jumlah bibit per lubang, kedalaman tanam, dan efisiensi lapang alat tanam padi manual. Hasil uji lapang menunjukan jarak tanam dalam baris adalah 27,08 cm dan jumlah bibit per lubang 2 batang pada umur bibit padi 25 hss (hari setelah semai) pada indeks pelumpuran 80-85%, kedalaman tanam 4,16 cm pada umur bibit 20 hss (hari setelah semai) di indeks pelumpuran 85-90%, dan efisiensi sebesar 53,02% pada umur bibit 15 hss (hari setelah semai) di indeks pelumpuran 85-90%. Berdasarkan hasil uji lapang, alat tanam padi manual pada indeks pelumpuran 85-90 %, menghasilkan efisiensi lapang alat tanam padi manual (manual rice transplanter) tertinggi yaitu 53,02 %.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Planting is an important activity in rice cultivation. In 2018 Kurniawan conducted research on manual rice planting tools that were adapted to the habits of farmers in Indonesia. The use of manual rice planting tools can increase efficiency in agriculture. The aims of this study were to: 1) evaluate the performance of manual rice planting equipment and 2) determine the working ability of manual rice planting equipment at various levels of soil mudding and the age of rice seedlings. Data collection was carried out using a manual rice planting tool to determine the performance of the tool by determining several levels of silting (between 80-85%, 85-90%, and 90-95%) and the age of rice seedlings (15 DAS, 20 DAS, and 25 DAS ), the variables observed were spacing in rows, number of seeds per hole, planting depth, and field efficiency of manual rice planting equipment. The results of the field test showed that the spacing in rows was 27.08 cm and the number of seeds per hole was 2 stems at the age of 25 days after sowing (days after sowing) at a puddling index of 80-85%, planting depth of 4.16 cm at a seedling age of 20 days after planting. (days after sowing) at a puddling index of 85-90%, and an efficiency of 53.02% at a seedling age of 15 days after sowing (days after sowing) at a puddling index of 85-90%. Based on the results of the field test, the manual rice transplanter at the puddling index was 85-90%, resulting in the highest field efficiency of the manual rice transplanter, which was 53.02%.
