| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Sistem zonasi sekolah merupakan kebijakan yang membagi penerimaan siswa baru ke dalam beberapa zona. Penerapan sistem zonasi sekolah merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam pemerataan pendidikan secara menyeluruh, tidak lagi berdasarkan sekolah unggulan dan non unggulan. Sistem ini dikeluarkan oleh Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) menyatakan bahwa sekolah yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah daerah wajib menerima calon peserta didik yang berdomisili pada radius zona terdekat dari sekolah paling sedikit sebesar 90 persen dari total jumlah keseluruhan peserta didik yang diterima. Penerapan sistem zonasi menimbulkan beberapa konflik khususnya pada peraturan panjang perjalanan siswa yang diatur oleh sistem zonasi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kebijakan sistem zonasi dalam karakteristik perjalanan siswa di SMPN 1 Purbalingga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan memperoleh data dari hasil kuesioner, dan dokumentasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan sistem zonasi sekolah khususnya di SMPN 1 Purbalingga, sistem zonasi mempengaruhi karakteristik panjang perjalanan siswa jika ditinjau dari pemilihan moda transportasi, dan pola perjalanannya seperti panjang perjalanan, waktu tempuh, dan biaya perjalanan siswa menuju sekolah. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Zonation school system is a policy of admitting new students into several zones. The implementation of the zonation school system is an effort by the government to provide a comprehensive distribution of education, its not based on superior and non-superior schools. This system is issued by the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) in law number 14 of 2018 which states that local govement school are required to accept prospective students who are domiciled within the radius of the zone at least 90 percent of the total number of students accepted. The application of the zoning system causes several conflicts, especially length of a student's journey that has been regulated by the zonation school system. This study purpose to determine the influence of the zoning system policy on the characteristics of student’s journey at SMPN 1 Purbalingga. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach by obtaining data from the results of questionnaires, and direct documentation in the field. Resulting The results of this study indicate that the application of the zonation school system, especially at SMPN 1 Purbalingga, the zoning system affects the characteristics of the length student's journey based from the choice of transportation mode, and the pattern of journey such as the length of the trip, journey time, and the cost of the student's journey to school. |
