| Judul Artikel | Hubungan antara Status Sosial Ekonomi dan Pengetahuan Agama Orang Tua dengan Pemilihan Sekolah Berbasis Agama Islam di Purwokerto |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam, hubungan antara pengetahuan agama orang tua dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam, serta hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi dan pengetahuan agama orang tua dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan survei melalui google form yang dibagikan kepada orang tua siswa. Sasaran penelitian adalah orang tua kelas 1 SDIT Khoiro Ummah dan SD Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah 02, keduanya di Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Responden berjumlah 81 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu disproportionate stratified random sampling, yakni teknik pengambilan sampel karena sifat populasi yang tidak sama dan tidak proporsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam. Dari angka yang diperoleh terdapat hubungan yang positif dan tidak signifikan. Artinya, semakin tinggi status sosial ekonomi orang tua, maka akan cenderung memilih sekolah berbasis agama Islam. Kemudian dari kedua variabel tidak terdapat hubungan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa temuan dalam penelitian ini tidak dapat digeneralisasikan ke seluruh wilayah. Pada variabel pengetahuan agama orang tua dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam terdapat hubungan yang positif. Kemudian terdapat hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi dan pengetahuan orang tua dengan pemilihan sekolah berbasis agama Islam. Hubungan tersebut signifikan dengan taraf kesalahan 0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan di antara tiga variabel tersebut. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan orang tua yang akan dan telah menyekolahkan anak di sekolah elit tidak menyekolahkan anak dengan tujuan untuk mempertahankan status sosial ekonomi. Inggris) | This study aims to explain the relationship between socioeconomic status and the choice of Islamic-based schools, the relationship between parents' religious knowledge and the choice of Islamic-based schools, and the relationship between socio-economic status and parents' religious knowledge with the selection of Islamic-based schools. The method used is a survey through a google form which is distributed to parents. The research targets were parents of grade 1 SDIT Khoiro Ummah and SD Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah 02, both in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. Respondents were 81 people, with the sampling technique used was disproportionate stratified random sampling, namely the sampling technique due to the unequal and disproportionate nature of the population. The results showed that there was no relationship between socioeconomic status and the selection of Islamic-based schools. From the figures obtained, there is a positive and insignificant relationship. That is, the higher the socioeconomic status of parents, the more likely they are to choose Islamic-based schools. Then from the two variables there is no relationship. This indicates that the findings in this study cannot be generalized to all regions. In the variable of parental religious knowledge with the selection of Islamic-based schools there is a positive relationship. Then there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and parental knowledge with the choice of Islamic-based schools. The relationship is significant with an error level of 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the three variables. From this research, it is hoped that parents who will and have sent their children to elite schools do not send their children to school with the aim of maintaining their socioeconomic status.
