| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar belakang: Neuropati diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi diabetes melitus. Neuropati diabetik dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif kepada penderitanya seperti terganggunya aktivitas, mobilitas, produktivitas kerja, hubungan sosial, pola tidur, dan berujung pada penurunan kualitas hidup pasien. Neuropati diabetik merupakan komplikasi kronis dari diabetes melitus yang berarti neuropati diabetik membutuhkan durasi yang cukup lama untuk terjadi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama menderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan kejadian neuropati diabetik. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan di Poliklinik Saraf RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Data neuropati diabetik dinilai dengan mengunakan Diabetik Neuropathy Symptom versi Indonesia (DNS-Ina) dan Diabetik Neuropathy Examination versi Indonesia (DNE-Ina). Responden yang diambil adalah sebanyak 65 orang dengan teknik consecutive sampling Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebesar 52,3% pasien menderita menderita DM tipe 2 selama <5 tahun dan pasien yang mengalami neuropati diabetik sebanyak 29 orang (44.6%). Uji analisis bivariat untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama menderita DM tipe 2 dengan kejadian neuropati diabetik menggunakan chi-square 2x2 didapatkan hasil p=0,559 Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lama menderita DM tipe 2 dengan kejadian neuropati diabetik di Poliklinik Saraf RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Diabetic neuropathy is one of the complications of DM. Diabetic neuropathy have many negative impacts on patient such as disruption of activity, mobility, work productivity, social relations, sleep patterns, and leads to a decrease in the patient's quality of life. Diabetic neuropathy is a chronic complication of diabetes mellitus, which means that diabetic neuropathy takes a long time to occur. Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the length of suffering from type 2 DM and the incidence of diabetic neuropathy. Methods: An analytic observational study with a cross sectional design was conducted at the Neurology Polyclinic, Prof. RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Data of Diabetic Neuropathy was assessed using the Indonesian version of the Diabetic Neuropathy Symptom (DNS-Ina) and the Indonesian version of the Diabetic Neuropathy Examination (DNE-Ina). The samples taken were 65 people with consecutive sampling technique. Results: The results showed that 52.3% of patients suffered from type 2 DM <5 years and 29 patients with diabetic neuropathy (44.6%). Bivariate analysis test to determine the relationship between duration of suffering from type 2 diabetes and the incidence of diabetic neuropathy using chi-square 2x2, the results are p = 0.559 Conclusion: Through the chi-square test, the results (p = 0.559) indicated that there is no significant relationship between the duration of suffering from type 2 diabetes and the incidence of diabetic neuropathy at the Neurology policlinic Hospital of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. |
