| Judul Artikel | Hubungan Indeks Massa Tubuh dengan Kadar Kolesterol Total pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar belakang : Indonesia termasuk negara ke-8 dari 10 besar negara yang diprediksi akan memiliki jumlah penderita DM sebesar 16,6 juta pada tahun 2045. Pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 diikuti oleh kadar profil lipid yang meningkat sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya dislipidemia. Peningkatan kadar kolesterol dalam darah salah satunya disebabkan oleh obesitas. Salah satu indikator yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur status gizi yaitu dapat menggunakan Indeks Massa Tubuh. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara IMT dengan kadar kolesterol total pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas. Metode : Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi merupakan pasien Diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang tergabung dalam Program Pengelolaan Penyakit Kronis di Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas periode Agustus - September 2021. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus penelitian analitis korelatif dengan besar sampel 37 responden. IMT diukur menggunakan microtoise dan timbangan. Pengukuran kadar kolesterol total dengan menggunakan metode CHOD-PAP dengan pengambilan darah vena oleh petugas Laboratorium Medico Labora. Hasil : Hasil penelitian dengan uji Spearman menunjukkan nilai p = 0,584 (p> 0,05) maka tidak berhubungan dengan underweight (2,7%), normal (24,3%), overweight (18,9%), obesitas I (40,5%), dan obesitas II (13,5%). Serta kadar kolesterol total dengan kategori diinginkan (18,9%), sedikit tinggi (37,8%), dan tinggi (43,2%). Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh dengan kadar kolesterol total pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background : Indonesia is the 8th country out of the top 10 countries which is predicted to have 16.6 million DM sufferers in 2045. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are followed by elevated lipid profile levels that can trigger dyslipidemia. One of the causes of increased cholesterol levels in the blood is obesity. One indicator that can be used to measure nutritional status is the Body Mass Index. Objective : To determine the relationship between BMI and total cholesterol levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas. Methods : The research design used a cross sectional approach. The population is type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients who are members of the Chronic Disease Management Program at the Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas on period August - September 2021. Sampling uses a correlative analytical research formula with a sample size of 37 respondents. BMI was measured using a microtoise and a scale. Measurement of total cholesterol levels using the CHOD-PAP method with venous blood collection by Medico Labora Laboratory staff. Results : The results of the study using the Spearman’s test showed p value = 0.584 (p> 0.05) was not related with underweight (2.7%), normal (24.3%), overweight (18.9%), obesity I (40, 5%), and obesity II (13.5%). As well as total cholesterol levels in the desired category (18.9%), borderline (37.8%), and high (43.2%). Conclusion : There is no relationship between body mass index and total cholesterol levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Puskesmas 2 Sumbang Banyumas. |
