| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang : Seorang mahasiswa memiliki cara masing-masing dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi ketika sedang berada dalam situasi penuh tekanan. Hal yang menentukan strategi penyelesaian masalah dan regulasi emosi individu salah satunya adalah dukungan sosial yang diberikan oleh keluarga. Peran ibu dapat menjadi hasil umum yang mewakili hubungan orang tua dan anak dalam keluarga. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hasil individu yang memiliki kedekatan yang tinggi dengan ibu maka regulasi emosi yang dimiliki semakin tinggi. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan berbagai dimensi mother-daughter relationship dengan regulasi emosi mahasiswi angkatan 2018 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan belah lintang (cross sectional) pada populasi terjangkau mahasiswi Jurusan Kedokteran Umum Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jenderal Soedirman angkatan 2018. Sebanyak 69 responden terpilih sebagai sampel dengan metode total sampling. Mother-daughter relationship diukur dengan Mother-Adult Daughter Questionnaire (MADQ) dan regulasi emosi diukur dengan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). Data yang terkumpul dianalisa dengan uji parametrik analisa korelasi pearson. Hasil : Subskala connectedness dalam mother-daughter relationship tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan tingkat regulasi emosi (p>0,05). Subskala interdependency dalam mother-daughter relationship tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan tingkat regulasi emosi (p>0,05). Subskala trust in hierarcy dalam mother-daughter relationship tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan tingkat regulasi emosi (p>0,05). Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara dimensi-dimensi pada mother-daughter relationship dengan regulasi emosi mahasiswi angkatan 2018 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background : Student has their own way of solving problems when they are in stressful situation. One of the things that determines problem solving strategies and individual emotional regulation is social support, one of which is provided by family. The mother's role can be general outcome that represents parent-child relationship in the family. Previous study has shown that individuals who have high closeness with their mothers have higher emotional regulation. Objective : This study aimed to know the correlation between various dimensions of mother-daughter relationship and emotional regulation in female college students class of 2018, Faculty of Medicine, Unsoed. Methods : This research was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The accessible population is female college students class of 2018, Faculty of Medicine, Unsoed. A total of 69 respondents were selected as samples by total sampling method. Mother-daughter relationship was measured by MADQ and emotion regulation was measured by ERQ. The data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation analysis parametric test. Results : The correlation between the connectedness subscales in mother-child relationship has no correlation with emotional regulation level (p>0,05). The interdependency subscale in mother-child relationship has no correlation with the emotional regulation level (p>0,05). The trust in hierarchy subscale in mother-daughter relationship has no correlation with emotional regulation level (p>0,05). Conclusion : There is no significant correlation between dimensions of mother-daughter relationship and emotional regulation in female college students class of 2018, Faculty of Medicine, Unsoed. |
