Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Pendidikan (RSGMP) Unsoed Purwokerto merupakan rumah sakit khusus yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dalam upaya promotif, preventif, kuratif dan rehabilitatif kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan memenuhi kebutuhan akan pelayanan kesehatan dan pendidikan sebagai konsekuensi didirikannya pendidikan kedokteran gigi di Unsoed. Unit Pelayanan Umum (UPU) menjadi salah satu unit pelayanan medis yang sering dimanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatannya oleh mahasiswa. RSGMP Unsoed harus dapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan seluruh layanan agar dapat diakui oleh masyarakat luas sebagai rumah sakit pendidikan yang berkelas dunia, namun pada kenyataanya belum diimbangi oleh adanya kestabilan peningkatan minat mahasiswa terhadap pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Berdasarkan data jumlah kunjungan mahasiswa di RSGMP Unsoed pada tahun 2017-2019 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat ketidakstabilan jumlah kunjugan, dimana pada tahun 2017 ada 3.298 kunjungan, tahun 2018 mengalami peningkatan jumlah pengunjung mencapai 3.992 kunjungan, namun di tahun 2019 terjadi penurunan jumlah pengunjung yaitu 3.051 kunjungan. Terjadinya ketidakstabilan jumlah kunjungan dikarenakan adanya ketidaklengkapan data mahasiswa pada rekam medis RSGMP Unsoed. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut oleh mahasiswa. Metodologi: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain cross sectional. Menggunakan jumlah sampel sebanyak 93 mahasiswa. Analisis penelitian menggunakan uji univariat dan uji bivariat. Hasil: Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut oleh mahasiswa adalah jenis kelamin (p=0,000), pelayanan dokter gigi (p=0,000) dan pelayanan perawat gigi (p=0,013).Variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah fakultas (p=0,087), pengetahuan (p=0,290), fasilitas (p=1,327), pelayanan petugas administrasi (p=0,336) dan biaya pelayanan (p=2,962). Kesimpulan: Pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut menjadi suatu permintaan berdasarkan kebutuhan masing-masing individu. Disarankan untuk pihak RSGMP Unsoed, perlu melakukan promosi mengenai pentingnya memeriksakan kesehatan gigi dan mulut secara rutin, dapat menambahkan fasilitas khususnya pelayanan estetika gigi dan mulut, untuk dokter dan perawat gigi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan khususnya kecakapan berkomunikasi kepada mahasiswa. |

Inggris) | Background: Dental and Oral Education Hospital (RSGMP) Unsoed Purwokerto is a special hospital that provides dental and oral health services in promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts to the community to meet the need for health and education services as a consequence of the establishment of dental education at Unsoed. Public Service Unit (UPU) is one of the medical service units whose health services are often used by students. RSGMP Unsoed must be able to improve and develop all services so that it can be recognized by the wider community as a world-class teaching hospital, but in reality, it has not been matched by a stable increase in student interest in the use of dental and oral health services. Based on data on the number of student visits at RSGM Unsoed in 2017-2019, it shows that there is an instability in the number of visits, where in 2017 there were 3,298 visits, in 2018 there was an increase in the number of visitors reaching 3,992 visits, but in 2019 there was a decrease in the number of visitors, namely 3,051 visits. The results of the preliminary study show that many students access dental and oral health services at RSGM Unsoed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to identify factors related to the use of dental and oral health services by students. Methods: Quantitative research with a cross-sectional design approach. Using a sample of 93 students. Research analysis using univariate test and bivariate test. Results: The results of the bivariate test showed that the variables related to the use of dental and oral health services were gender (p=0.000), dentist services (p=0.000), and dental nurse services (p=0.013). The unrelated variables were faculties (p=0.087), knowledge (p=0.290), facilities (p=1.327), administrative staff services (p=0.336) and service fees (p=2.962). Conclusion: The use of dental and oral health services is a request based on the needs of each individual. It is recommended for the RSGM Unsoed, it is necessary to promote the importance of routine dental and oral health checks, can add facilities, especially dental and oral aesthetic services, for doctors and dental nurses it is expected to improve services, especially communication skills to students. |
