| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Kegiatan magang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Februari 2020 - 13 Februari 2021. Magang dilaksanakan di Suzukuna Farm co., ltd Nishienshu Betsunishi, Hokkaido, Jepang. Tujuan dilaksanakan magang ke Jepang yaitu mengetahui segala aspek internal peternakan di negara maju, mengimplementasikan teori secara langsung sistem pemeliharaan ternak yang difasilitasi teknologi modern, memperoleh gambaran nyata dunia kerja, mengetahui kualitas susu dan besarnya perbedaan produksi susu pada empat musim. Kegiatan magang meliputi kegiatan rutin, kegiatan insidental, dan kegiatan penunjang. Kegiatan rutin meliputi pemerahan sapi, sanitasi area pemerahan, penggantian sekam, pencampuran feed additive, sanitasi kandang, sanitasi gudang pakan, dan sanitasi tempat minum sapi. Kegiatan insidental meliputi penanganan kelahiran pedet, penanganan sapi yang sakit, menyeleksi sapi birahi, pemotongan kuku, pemotongan ekor, penggantian sekam seluruh kandang, dan membongkar salju. Kegiatan penunjang meliputi diskusi bersama karyawan perusahaan yang dapat meningkatkan skill bahasa dan teori internal peternakan. Sapi perah yang dipelihara di Suzukuna Farm merupakan sapi FH (Friesian Hollstein). Perkawinan dilakukan secara inseminasi buatan (IB) dengan Conception Rate (CR) sebesar 60%. Populasi sapi perah berjumlah 400 ekor. Sapi laktasi diperah dua kali sehari menggunakan milking parlour produksi DeLaval dengan sistem pengoperasian dari Afimilk yang dapat memerah sampai 40 ekor sekaligus. Pemeriksaan kesehatan dilakukan secara inspeksi dan pengecekan suhu rektal. Suhu rektal normalnya 38 0C-39 0C jika melebihi maka diduga peradangan. Susu secara intens dilakukan pengecekan melalui uji Californian Mastitis Test (CMT). Susu disimpan pada Bulk milk cooler dengan suhu 2 0C. Pengecekan kualitas susu dilakukan setiap hari didasarkan pada standar mutu susu yang ditetapkan oleh koperasi Chienowa. Hasil uji kualitas susu di Suzukuna Farm sudah memenuhi standar mutu susu di Jepang dan di koperasi Chienowa. Susu diangkut oleh truk kontainer dari Chienowa setiap pagi sebanyak 10 ton/hari untuk didistribusikan ke perusahaan pengolah susu di daerah metropolitan. Produksi susu di Suzukuna Farm yaitu mencapai rata-rata 35,2 kg/ekor/hari. Berdasarkan hasil uji anova, musim tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi susu. Hal ini diduga karena suhu dan kelembapan udara di dalam kandang dikontrol secara intens dengan bantuan fasilitas di dalam kandang agar suhu tetap stabil pada saat menghadapi musim yang ekstrim. Pakan diberikan sebanyak 52,896 kg/ekor/hari secara Total Mixed Ratio (TMR). Media yang digunakan adalah Kuhn Knight Mixer yang berfungsi untuk mencampur pakan sekaligus mendistribusikan ke setiap kandang. Kandang yang digunakan merupakan kandang semi closed house, tipe ruangan central alley, dan tipe atap kandang monitor. Limbah ternak yang dihasilkan berupa limbah padat (feses dan alas kandang) yang disimpan secara aerob dan slurry (seluruh effluent dari kandang termasuk air sisa sanitasi) yang disimpan pada slurry tank. Limbah dimanfaatkan untuk memelihara padang rumput dan lahan pertanian. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT The internship will be held on February 21, 2020 - February 13, 2021. The internship will be held at Suzukuna Farm co., ltd Nishienshu Betsunishi, Hokkaido, Japan. The purpose of the internship in Japan is to know all internal aspects of animal husbandry in developed countries, to directly implement the theory of livestock rearing systems facilitated by modern technology, to get a real picture of the world of work, to know the quality of milk and the difference in milk production in the four seasons. Internship activities include routine activities, incidental activities, and supporting activities. Routine activities include milking cows, sanitation of milking areas, replacement of husks, mixing of feed additives, sanitation of cages, sanitation of feed warehouses, and sanitation of drinking places for cows. Incidental activities include handling calf births, handling sick cows, selecting cows for lust, cutting hooves, cutting tails, changing the husks of all cages, and removing snow. Supporting activities include discussions with company employees who can improve language skills and internal theory of livestock. The dairy cattle raised at Suzukuna Farm are FH (Friesian Hollstein) cattle. The marriage was carried out by artificial insemination (IB) with a Conception Rate (CR) of 60%. The population of dairy cows is 400 heads. Lactation cows are milked twice a day using DeLaval's milking parlor with Afimilk's operating system that can milk up to 40 heads at once. Health checks are carried out by inspection and checking of rectal temperature. Normal rectal temperature is 38 0C-39 0C if it exceeds then inflammation is suspected. Milk is intensively checked through the Californian Mastitis Test (CMT). Milk is stored in the Bulk milk cooler with a temperature of 2 0C. Milk quality checks are carried out daily based on the milk quality standards set by the Chienowa cooperative. The results of the milk quality test at Suzukuna Farm have met the milk quality standards in Japan and at the Chienowa cooperative. 10 tons/day of milk is transported by container trucks from Chienowa every morning to be distributed to dairy processing companies in the metropolitan area. Milk production at Suzukuna Farm reaches an average of 35.2 kg/head/day. Based on the results of the ANOVA test, season has no significant effect on milk production. This is presumably because the temperature and humidity in the cage are controlled intensely with the help of facilities in the cage so that the temperature remains stable when facing extreme seasons. Feed was given as much as 52.896 kg/head/day in Total Mixed Ratio (TMR). The media used is the Kuhn Knight Mixer which functions to mix feed and distribute it to each cage. The cages used are semi closed house cages, central alley room type, and monitor cage roof type. The livestock waste produced is in the form of solid waste (feces and cage mats) which is stored aerobically and slurry (all effluent from the cage including sanitation waste water) which is stored in a slurry tank.
