| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penerapan komunikasi terapeutik sebagai bentuk pelayanan keperawatan menjadi krusial untuk diperhatikan. Maksimalnya penerapan hubungan terapeutik melalui komunikasi yang berfokus pada pasien, terutama dari unit keperawatan dapat menumbuhkan kepercayaan dan kepuasan pasien. Literatur yang digunakan mengadopsi dan mengolaborasi dari lima penelitian terdahulu dengan tema besar penerapan komunikasi terapeutik. Model Studi Kasus Intrinsik dengan Analisis Data Interaktif dan Triangulasi Sumber sebagai pengembangan validitas datanya digunakan dalam kajian ini. Tujuan dari kajian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan, mengidentifikasi, serta melihat adanya hambatan dalam proses komunikasi terapeutik dari keempat fasenya yang dilakukan perawat kepada pasien pascabedah Rumah Sakit Umum Santa Elisabeth Purwokerto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses penerapan komunikasi terapeutik, perawat memiliki ciri khas masing-masing yang disesuaikan dengan rencana trategi komunikasi terapeutik untuk pasien. Di samping itu, komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal terapeutik menjadi dua unsur penting yang harus seimbang untuk diterapkan. Terlihat pula bahwa terdapat hambatan-hambatan yang beresiko menjadi tidak maksimalnya penerapan komunikasi terapeutik kepada pasien. Implikasi dari kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bukti implementasi penggunaan salah satu ilmu dan konsep komunikasi kesehatan dalam mengidentifikasi penerapan komunikasi terapeutik pada suatu lingkungan yang dapat terus dikembangkan. Hasil dari kajian ini diharapkan pula dapat menjadi acuan pihak rumah sakit dalam mengevaluasi penerapan komunikasi terapeutik perawatnya. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The application of therapeutic communication as a form of nursing service is crucial to noted. As the spearhead of service, maximizing application of therapeutic treatment and patient-focused communication especially from nursing units that are in direct contact during the patient's healing process, will foster patient trust and satisfaction. The literature that used in this study was taken from five previous studies with the major theme of the application of therapeutic communication which was adopted and collaborated as a reference for this study. Intrinsic Case Study Model with Interactive Data Analysis and Triangulasi Sumber as the development of data validity is used in this study. The purpose of this study is to describe and identify the therapeutic communication process of the four phases carried out by nurses to post-surgery patients at Rumah Sakit Umum Santa Elisabeth Purwokerto. The results showed that in the process of implementing therapeutic communication, nurses have their own characteristics that must be adjusted when planning therapeutic communication strategies for patients. In addition, therapeutic verbal and nonverbal communication are two important elements that must be balanced to apply. It is also seen that there are barriers which pose a worse risk of the application of therapeutic communication to patients. The implications of this study are expected to be evidence of the implementation of the use of one of the sciences and concepts of health communication in identifying the application of therapeutic communication in an environment that can continue to be developed. The results of this study are also expected to be a reference for the hospital in evaluating the application of nurse therapeutic communication. |
