| Judul Artikel | THE EFFECT OF THE TOURISM SECTOR ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN CENTRAL JAVA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Sektor Pariwisata Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2014-2018. Provinsi Jawa Tengah memiliki potensi pariwisata yang besar untuk dikembangkan. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui semakin bertambahnya jumlah kunjungan wisatawan dan obyek wisata di Jawa Tengah selama lima tahun terakhir, selain itu PAD terhadap sektor wisata juga meningkat. Dengan menggunakan analisis regresi data panel yaitu gabungan dari data time series tahun 2014 hingga 2018 dan data cross section sebanyak 35 Kabupaten/kota, sehingga akan menghasilkan data sebanyak 175 data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel independen sektor pariwisata yang meliputi; Pendapartan Asli Daerah (PAD) Sektor Pariwisata, jumlah wisatawan, jumlah obyek wisata, jumlah hotel, investasi dan tenaga kerja terhadap variabel dependen yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2014-2018. Dengan menggunakan regresi data panel Common Effect Model (CEM) hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) sektor pariwisata berpengaruh positif signifikan, jumlah obyek wisata berpengaruh positif signifikan dan jumlah hotel berpengaruh positif signifikan, sedangkan variabel jumlah wisatawan, investasi dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2014-2018. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah diharapkan terus memajukan dan meningkatkan sektor pariwisata, Pengusaha dan stakeholder sektor pariwisata memberikan layanan prima, infrastruktur pariwisata sehingga akan meningkatkan kedatangan wisatawan dan berdanpak pada naiknya Pendapatan Asli Daerah sektor pariwisata serta menjalin kerjasama untuk investasi terhadap sektor wisata. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research entitled The Effect Of The Tourism Sector On Economic Growth in Central Java Province 2014-2018. Central Java Province has great tourism potential to be developed. This can be seen from the increasing number of tourist visits and tourism objects in Central Java during the last five years, besides that PAD for the tourism sector has also increased. By using a combined panel data regression analysis from time series data from 2014 to 2018 and cross section data of 35 districts / cities, it will produce 175 data. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the tourism sector independent variables which include; Regional Local Government Revenue (PAD) for the Tourism Sector, number of tourists visits, the number of tourist attractins, the number of hotels, Capita and labor on the dependent variable, namely the economic growth of Central Java Province in 2014-2018. By using the Common Effect Model (CEM) panel data regression, the results of this study indicate that the Regional Local Government Revenue (PAD) variable has a significant positive effect, the number of tourism attractions has a significant positive effect and the number of hotels has a significant positive effect, while the number of tourists ,capital and labor variables do not affect the economic growth of Central Java Province in 2014-2018. The implication of this research is that the Central Java Provincial Government is expected to continue to advance and improve the tourism sector, entrepreneurs and tourism sector stakeholders provide excellent service, tourism infrastructure so that it will increase tourist arrivals and increase the Regional Local Government Revenue tourism sectrs and establish cooperation for investment in the tourism sector. travel. |
