Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase kandungan serat kasar dan BETN pada silase rumput padang golf. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 28 Maret hingga 18 April 2021 bertempat di Lapang Golf Wijayakusuma Purwokerto, Green House Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan serta Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirmal, Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu rumput bermuda padang golf sebanyak 135 kg dan bahan tambahan ketela pohon, ketela rambat dan dedak padi dengan dosis sebanyak 250 gram dan 500 gram. Alat yang digunakan yaitu timbangan, plastik dengan ukuran sebesar 10 kg, karung, mesin pemotong, terpal dan alat tulis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan metode uji lanjut beda nyata jujur (BNJ), terdiri atas 7 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu k0 = 5 kg rumput tanpa bahan tambahan atau variabel kontrol, k1 = 5kg rumput + 250 gram ketela pohon, k2 = 5kg rumput + 500 gram ketela pohon, k3 = 5kg rumput + 250 gram ketela rambat, k4 = 5 kg rumput + 500 gram ketela rambat, k5 = 5kg rumput + 250 gram dedak padi, k6 = 5 kg rumput + 500 gram dedak padi. Variabel yang diamati adalah persentase serat kasar dan BETN pada silase rumput padang golf. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bahan tambahan ketela pohon, ketela rambat dan dedak padi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap persentase serat kasar dan BETN pada silase rumput padang golf. Hasil rataan persentase nilai serat kasar silase pada K0 (28,50 ± 1,68 ), k1 (24,62 ± 1,48), K2 (25,33 ± 0,52), K3 (25,63 ± 0,71), K4 (25,34 ± 1,34), K5 (25,21 ± 3,25), K6 (24,61 ± 1,91). Hasil rataan persentase nilai BETN silase pada K0 (35,38 ± 1,44), K1 (39,72 ± 2,51), K2 (40 ± 1,05), K3 (38,95 ± 1,37), K4 (39,73 ± 1,60), K5 (39,99 ± 3,52), K6 (39,75 ± 1,09). Kesimpulan dari penelitian yaitu pemberian bahan tambahan ketela pohon, ketela rambat, dedak padi pada setiap perlakuan tidak mempengaruhi pada persentase nilai serat kasar dan BETN pada silase rumput padang golf.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This study aims to determine the percentage of crude fiber content and BETN in golf grass silage. The research was carried out from March 28 to April 18 2021 at the Wijayakusuma Golf Course, Purwokerto, Green House Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Nutrition Science Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirmal University, Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province. The materials used in this study were 135 kg golf course bermudagrass and additional ingredients for cassava, sweet potato, and rice bran with a dose of 250 grams and 500 grams. The tools used are scales, plastic with a size of 10 kg, sacks, cutting machines, tarpaulins, and stationery. The method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with a further test method of honest real difference (BNJ), consisting of 7 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments given were k0 = 5 kg of grass without additives or control variables, k1 = 5kg of grass + 250 grams of cassava, k2 = 5kg of grass + 500 grams of cassava, k3 = 5kg of grass + 250 grams of sweet potato, k4 = 5 kg grass + 500 grams of sweet potato, k5 = 5kg grass + 250 grams rice bran, k6 = 5 kg grass + 500 grams rice bran. The variables observed were the percentage of crude fiber and BETN in the silage of golf course grass. The results of the study showed that the addition of cassava, cassava, and rice bran additives had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the percentage of crude fiber and BETN in golf grass silage. The results of the average percentage of silage crude fiber values at K0 (28.50 ± 1.68), k1 (24.62 ± 1.48), K2 (25.33 ± 0.52), K3 (25.63 ± 0.71 ), K4 (25.34 ± 1.34), K5 (25.21 ± 3.25), K6 (24.61 ± 1.91). The results of the average percentage of BETN silage values at K0 (35.38 ± 1.44), K1 (39.72 ± 2.51), K2 (40 ± 1.05), K3 (38.95 ± 1.37), K4 (39.73 ± 1.60), K5 (39.99 ± 3.52), K6 (39.75 ± 1.09). This study concludes that the addition of cassava, cassava, and rice bran additives in each treatment did not affect the percentage of crude fiber and BETN values in golf grass silage.
