Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi polen tumbuhan yang terdapat di sekitar sarang dan polen yang dibawa lebah kedalam sarang lebah Apis cerana. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Balam Sempurna, Rokan Hilir, Riau. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan mengambil sampel polen dari sarangg lebah Apis cerana dan polen tumbuhan di sekitar sarang. Preparasi sampel polen dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode asetolisis. Variabel yang diamati adalah karakter morfologi polen dan parameter yang diamati adalah unit polen, aperture, ukuran, bentuk, dan ornamentasi pada eksin. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara desktiptif. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan 26 spesies tumbuhan dan 19 jenis polen terdapat di dalam sarang lebah A.cerana, 16 jenis polen identik dengan polen dari bunga yang ada di sekitar sarang dan 3 jenis polen tidak teridentifikasi tumbuhan penghasilnya. Polen hasil identifikasi memiliki karakteristik morfologi polen yang bervariasi yaitu unit polen monad, bentuk prolate spheroidal sampai prolate, ukuran polen kecil sampai sedang, apertura monocolpate, tricolpate, tricolporate, inaperture, pericolpate, periporate, pericolporate, dan syncolpate, ornamentasi psilate, perforate, reticulate, echinate, dan scabrate. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aims to determine the morphological characteristics of plant pollen found around the hive and the pollen brought by bees into thebeehive Apis cerana. This research was conducted in the village of Balam Sempurna, Rokan Hilir, Riau. Sampling used a random sampling technique by taking pollen samples from thebee hive Apis cerana and plant pollen around the hive. Pollen sample preparation was carried out using the acetolysis method. The observed variables were pollen morphological characters and the observed parameters were pollen unit, aperture, size, shape, and ornamentation on exin. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study, 26 plant species and 19 types of pollen were found in bee A. cerana nests, 16 types of pollen were identical to pollen from flowers around the hive and 3 pollen was not identified by the plant producing it. The identified pollen has varied pollen morphological characteristics, namely monad pollen units, spheroidal to prolate prolate shape, small to medium pollen size, monocolpate aperture, tricolpate, tricolporate, aperture, pericolpate, periporate, pericolporate, and syncopate, psilate ornamentation, perforate, reticulate , echinates, and scabrates. |
