| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan singkong pada pakan sapi potong berbasis silase rumput gajah terhadap kecernaan bahan kering (KBK) dan kecernaan bahan organik (KBO) secara in vitro, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Juni sampai tanggal 7 Juli 2021 di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan yaitu cairan rumen 3 ekor sapi yang diperoleh dari Rumah Potong Hewan Bantarwuni, silase rumput gajah, dan singkong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental in vitro. Jumlah perlakuan sebanyak 4 perlakuan yaitu R1 (Silase rumput gajah 100%), R2 (Silase rumput gajah 95% + singkong 5%). R3 (Silase rumput gajah 90% + singkong 5%), dan R4 (Silase rumput gajah 85% + singkong 15%). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali dan ditambah 2 blangko sehingga terdapat 22 unit percobaan. Variabel yang diukur adalah KBK dan KBO. Rataan KBK hasil penelitian yaitu R1 = 39,43%, R2 = 43,63%, R3 = 42,45%, R4 = 39,6% ; rataan KBO hasil penelitian yaitu R1 = 38,74%, R2 = 42,65%, R3 = 43,77%, R4 = 38,98%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan penggunaan singkong pada pakan berbasis silase rumput gajah sangat berpengaruh terhadap KBK dan KBO (P < 0.01). KBK dari R2 berbeda nyata dengan R1 dan R4, namun tidak berbeda nyata dengan R3. KBO R3 berbeda sangat nyata dengan R1 dan berbeda nyata dengan R4, namun R3 tidak berbeda nyata dengan R2. KBK tertinggi pada R2 yaitu 43.64% (silase rumput gajah 95% + singkong 5%), sedangkan KBO tertinggi pada R3 yaitu 43.77% (silase rumput gajah 90% + singkong 10%). Penggunaan singkong pada pakan sapi potong berbasis silase rumput gajah hingga taraf 10% meningkatkan KBK dan KBO. |

Inggris) | The research aims to examine the effect of using cassava on elephant grass silage-based beef cattle feed on dry matter digestibility (DMD) and organic matter digestibility (OMD) by in vitro, held from 7 June to 7 July 2021 at the Nutrition and Animal Feed Science Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The materials used were rumen fluid 3 cows obtained from the Bantarwuni Slaughterhouse, elephant grass silage, and cassava. The research method used is experimental in vitro. The number of treatments was 4 treatments, namely R1 (100% elephant grass silage), R2 (95% elephant grass silage + 5% cassava). R3 (90% elephant grass silage + 5% cassava), and R4 (85% elephant grass silage + 15% cassava). Each treatment was repeated 5 times and added 2 blanks so that there were 22 experimental units. The variables measured were DMD and OMD. The average DMD research results are R1 = 39.43%, R2 = 43.63%, R3 = 42.45%, R4 = 39.6%; the average OMD of the research results is R1 = 38.74%, R2 = 42.65%, R3 = 43.77%, R4 = 38.98%. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the use of cassava in elephant grass silage-based feed greatly affected DMD and OMD (P < 0.01). DMD of R2 is significantly different from R1 and R4, but not significantly different from R3. OMD of R3 is significantly different from R1 and significantly different from R4, but R3 was not significantly different from R2. The highest DMD in R2 is 43.64% (95% elephant grass silage + 5% cassava), while the highest OMD is in R3 43.77% (90% elephant grass silage + 10% cassava). The use of cassava in elephant grass silage-based beef cattle feed to a level of 10% increased DMD and OMD.
