| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “The Implementation of LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto as E-learning Platform in online English Learning” (A Descriptive Study of the 12th Grade Students of SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto Academic Year 2020/2021). Tujuan peneliti adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto sebagai platform e-learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris secara daring, untuk mengetahui permasalahan siswa kelas 12 dan guru bahasa Inggris selama penerapan LMS nya dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris daring, dan mengetahui solusi dari guru untuk mengatasi masalah siswa dalam menerapkan LMS nya. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif dengan desain penelitian kualitatif. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi metode untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto cukup mendorong dan membantu baik siswa maupun guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Seluruh proses pembelajaran di dalam LMS dilaksanakan tahapan/tahapan secara lengkap kegiatan E-learning dalam membuat materi dan sumber pembelajaran, mengorganisasikannya agar mudah diakses dan dikenali fiturnya, menyampaikan materi pelajaran secara sinkron dan asinkron, berkolaborasi membahas masalah /pertanyaan kasus dari materi, menilai siswa dengan tes formatif. Implementasi LMS juga memunculkan beberapa masalah dari siswa dan guru di Kelas Bahasa Inggris. Kendala yang dialami mahasiswa antara lain kurang mendapat masukan dan koreksi, kurang termotivasi untuk mengikuti kelas online, sulit login karena koneksi internet dan layanan website, lama loading website dan penyesuaian file yang diupload. Selanjutnya permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru seperti siswa kurang disiplin, umpan balik yang diberikan kepada siswa kurang lengkap, penggunaan fitur zoom yang kurang optimal. Untuk Mengatasi masalah pada siswa, guru memberi solusi yaitu mengaktifkan diskusi, memberi tugas yang mudah, melengkapi umpan balik untuk siswa, meminta mereka untuk bergabung ke LMS lebih awal, dan mengirim file jawaban ke nomor guru, mempersiapkan video penjelasan materi. |

Inggris) | The research title is “The Implementation of LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto as E-learning Platform in online English Learning” (A Descriptive Study of the 12th Grade Students of SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto Academic Year 2020/2021). The aims of this research are to describe the implementation of LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto as e-learning platform in online English learning, to find out the problems of the 12th grade students and English teacher during its implementation in online English Learning, and to find out the teacher’s solutions in solving students’ problems. This research applies descriptive study on qualitative research design. The researcher gathers the data through observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher uses the triangulation by method to analyze the data. The result of the research shows that the implementation of LMS SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto is encouraging and helpful enough for both students and the teacher in learning English. All learning process inside the LMS were implemented completely the phase of E-learning activities in creating the learning materials and resources, organizing them to be easily accessible and identifiable in features. In addition, delivery of the lesson material happened synchronously and asynchronously, and students’ collaboration on class commucination was to discuss the problem/case question of the material, the teacher assessed the students by formative test. However, it was found several problems undergone by the students such as less feedback and correction, less motivated to join online class, login error due to internet connection and website server, long loading website and file uploaded adjustment. Furthermore, some problems were encountered by the teacher such as undisciplined students, less complete feedback given to students, less maximum use of zoom feature. To overcome the problems, the teacher gave the solutions such as letting the students activate the discussions, giving them simple exercise, completing the given feedback, asking them to join the platform earlier, sending their file of results to teacher’s phone number, and sending material explanation video. |
