Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Rancang bangun dan karakterisasi alat ukur kadar garam berbasis sensor kapasitif dibagi menjadi empat tahapan. Tahap pertama pembuatan kapasitor dengan menggunakan dua elektroda silinder yang tersusun secara sejajar. Tahap kedua perangkaian komponen elektronik di antaranya membuat rangkaian astable multivibrator dan integrasi seluruh komponen alat ukur kadar garam. Tahap ketiga pengujian sensor kadar garam untuk menentukan fungsi kalibrasi sensor. Nilai frekuensi sebagai output sensor dan kadar garam sebagai input sensor. Tahap terakhir pengujian karakterisasi alat ukur kadar garam terhadap larutan NaCl dengan kadar garam 1 sampai 30 ppt. Hasil karakteristik alat ukur kadar garam memiliki nilai range pengukuran 5 sampai 30 ppt, nilai range frekuensi dari 8252,993 sampai 8667,968 Hz, dan nilai eror rata-rata sebesar 3,2.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The design and characterization of a capacitive sensor-based salt level measuring instrument is divided into four stages. The first stage of making a capacitor using two cylindrical electrodes arranged in parallel. The second stage of assembling electronic components includes making an astable multivibrator circuit and integrating all components of the salt level measuring instrument. The third stage is testing the salt level sensor to determine the sensor calibration function. Frequency value as sensor output and salt content as sensor input. The last stage is testing the characterization of the salt level measuring instrument against the NaCl solution with a salt content of 1 to 30 ppt. The results of the characteristics of the salinity measuring instrument have a measurement range of 5 to 30 ppt, a frequency range of 8252,993 to 8667,968 Hz, and an average error value of 3.2.
