| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menentukan volume penyiraman yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah di lahan pasir pantai, 2) menentukan frekuensi penyiraman yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah di lahan pasir pantai, 3) menentukan volume dan frekuensi penyiraman yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah di lahan pasir pantai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Agustus sampai Oktober 2019 di lahan pasir Pantai Jetis, Desa Banjarsari, Kecamatan Nusawungu, Kabupaten Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Faktor pertama yaitu volume penyiraman (V) yaitu, V1 = 5 mm/siram, V2 = 10 mm/siram, V3 = 15 mm/siram. Faktor kedua yaitu frekuensi penyiraman (P) yaitu, P1 = 1 kali/hari, P2 = 2 kali/hari, P3 = 3 kali/hari. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar, jumlah akar, kehijauan daun, lebar bukaan stomata, kerapatan stomata, bobot umbi segar dan kering, bobot akar segar dan kering, bobot daun segar dan kering, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, hasil umbi segar dan hasil umbi askip. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji F, apabila terdapat keragaman dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) volume penyiraman 5 mm/siram mampu meningkatkan jumlah akar sebesar 87,88 g, 10 mm/siram = 164,89 g dan 15 mm/siram = 155,78 g dan berpengaruh terhadap kandungan klorofil memberikan hasil 5 mm/siram= 3,32 unit, 10 mm/siram = 6 unit dan 15 mm/siram = 8,5 unit. 2) Frekuensi penyiraman mampu menigkatkan bobot segar akar memberikan hasil 1 kali/hari = 0,44 g, 2 kali/hari = 2,67 g dan 3 kali/hari = 1,01 g dan berpengaruh terhadap bobot segar umbi memberikan hasil 1 kali/hari = 86,34 g, 2 kali/hari = 126,47 g dan 3 kali/hari = 133,86 g. 3) Interaksi antara volume 10 mm/siram dan frekuensi penyiraman 2 kali/hari, dan volume 10 mm/siram dan frekuensi penyiraman 3 kali/hari meningkatkan lebar bukaan stomata pagi. Interaksi antara volume 5 mm/siram dan frekuensi penyiraman 3 kali/hari meningkatkan jumlah daun. Kata kunci : Bawang merah, volume penyiraman, frekuensi penyiraman, lahan pasir pantai. |

Inggris) | ABSTRACT This study aims to:1) determine the volume of water that can increase the growth and yield of shallots in coastal sand land,2) determine the frequency of watering that can increase the growth and yield of shallots in coastal sand land,3) determine the volume and frequency of watering that can be used. Increase the growth and yield of shallots in coastal sand lands. This research was conducted from August to October 2019 in the sand land of Jetis Beach, Banjarsari Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RBD). The first factor is the volume of water (V), namely, V1=5 mm / flush, V2=10 mm / flush, V3=15 mm / flush. The second factor is the frequency of watering (P), namely, P1=1 times/day, P2 = 2 times/day, P3= 3 times/day. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, number of roots, greenness of leaves, width of stomatal opening, density of stomata, fresh and dry tuber weight, fresh and dry root weight, fresh and dry leaf weight, number of tubers, tuber diameter, yield of fresh tubers and yield of askip tubers. The data obtained were analyzed using the F test, if there is diversity, then proceed with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) level of 5%. The results showed that: 1) volume of watering 5 mm/ flush was able to increase the number of roots by 87.88 g, 10 mm/flush = 164.89 g and 15 mm/flush = 155.78 g and the effect on chlorophyll content gave 5 results. mm/flush = 3.32 units, 10 mm/ flush = 6 units and 15 mm/flush = 8.5 units. 2) The frequency of watering was able to increase the fresh weight of the roots giving a yield of 1 time / day = 0.44 g, 2 times/day = 2.67 g and 3 times/day = 1.01 g and had an effect on the fresh weight of the tubers giving a yield of 1 times/day = 86.34 g, 2 times/day = 126.47 g and 3 times/day = 133.86 g. 3) The interaction between the volume of 10 mm/flush and the frequency of watering 2 times/day, and the volume of 10 mm/flush and the frequency of watering 3 times/day increases the width of the opening of the morning stomata. The interaction between the volume of 5 mm / flush and the frequency of watering 3 times/day increased the number of leaves.
