| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Tenaga kesehatan memiliki kontak paling erat dengan pasien COVID-19 harus selalu memiliki kondisi imun optimal. Namun, tingginya beban kerja, kelelahan dan rasa cemas memicu respon inflamasi dan menurunkan status imun, ditandai dengan perubahan kadar C-Reactive Protein (CRP). Yogurt kecambah kacang hijau (yocamio) kaya akan fenolik dan vitamin C sebagai antioksidan berperan mengoptimalkan sistem imun dan menekan progresivitas marker inflamasi. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Randomized Control Trial (RCT) Single Blind melibatkan 14 orang wanita tenaga kesehatan yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit Sinar Kasih Purwokerto. Subjek dibagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan mendapatkan yocamio, sedangkan kelompok kontrol diberikan plasebo selama 2 bulan masing-masing sebanyak 200 ml/hari. Kadar CRP responden diamati pada 0 dan 2 bulan intervensi menggunakan metode High Sensitivity CRP ELISA. Data kadar CRP dianalisis dengan uji Paired t-test, dan Independent t-test. Hasil Penelitian: Pemberian yogurt kecambah kacang hijau sebanyak 200 ml/hari selama 2 bulan mampu menekan kadar CRP plasma responden hingga 40,3% secara bermakna dibanding kontrol (p=0,016). Kesimpulan: Konsumsi yogurt kecambah kacang hijau sebanyak 200 ml/hari selama 2 bulan menurunkan kadar CRP plasma responden secara signifikan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Backgorund: Health workers who have the closest contact with COVID-19 patient should have optimal immune conditions. However, high workload, burnout and anxiety leading inflammatory response and immune decline, marked by C-Reactive Protein (CRP) levels changes. Mung bean sprouts yogurt (yocamio) rich in phenolics and vitamin C as antioxidant that play roles to optimizing the immune system and suppressing progression of inflammatory markers. Methods: This study used a Single Blind Randomized Control Trial (RCT) design involving 14 female health workers from Sinar Kasih Hospital, Purwokerto. Subjects were divided into two groups, treatement and control group. The treatment group received 200 ml/day yocamio, while control group was given 200 ml/day placebo for 2 months. CRP levels were observed at 0 and 2 months of intervention using the High Sensitivity CRP ELISA method. CRP levels data were analyses using Paired t-test and Independent t-test. Results: Interventions of 200 ml/day of mung bean sprouts yogurt for 2 months reduce CRP plasma levels up to 40,3% compared to the control group (p=0,016). Conclusion: Consumption of 200 ml/day mung bean sprouts yogurt for 2 months decrease CRP plasma levels on health workers significantly. |
