Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Artocarpus termasuk dalam anggota famili Moraceae yang pada umumnya merupakan tanaman penghasil buah. Genus ini mempunyai sekitar 50 jenis yang tersebar di kawasan Asia tenggara dan Asia Pasifik. Purwokerto adalah salah satu kawasan yang memiliki keanekaragaman Artocarpus namun belum banyak dikaji keragamannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman anggota genus Artocarpus dan mengetahui hubungan kemiripan anggota genus Artocarpus berdasarkan karakter anatomi daun. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Variabel yang diamati adalah karakter anatomi daun dengan parameter meliputi tebal kutikula, epidermis, mesofil, rasio palisade, ukuran stomata, tipe stomata, bentuk, jumlah stomata dan trikoma per 1 mm2 luas daun. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemiripannya dianalisis menggunakan metode Unweighted Pair Group Method Arithmatic Average (UPGMA) dengan software MEGA 6.0.Hasil penelitian didapatkan empat spesies yang ditemukan yaitu nangka (A. heterophyllus), cempedak (A. integer), sukun (A. altilis var. non-seminiferus ) dan kluwih (A. altilis var. seminiferus). Hasil pengukuran didapatkan cempedak dan sukun mempunyai hubungan kemiripan paling jauh dengan nilai indeks disimilaritas sebesar 0.631, sedangkan hubungan kemiripan terdekat yaitu nangka dan kluwih dengan nilai indeks disimilaritas sebesar 0,086. Karakter pembeda yang memisahkan adalah panjang dan lebar serta kerapatan stomata pada setiap spesies, tipe trikoma, kerapatan trikoma, panjang dan lebar trikoma, tebal kutikula, tebal epidermis, tebal mesofil dan rasio palisade pada tiap spesies.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Artocarpus is a member of the family Moraceae which is generally a fruit-producing plant. This genus has about 50 species spread across Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region. Purwokerto is one of the areas that has a diversity of Artocarpus but has not been studied for its diversity. This study aims to 1) determine the diversity of members of the genus Artocarpus and to find out the relationship between members of the genus Artocarpus based on the anatomical characters of the leaves.The research was conducted by survey method with purposive sampling technique. The observed variables were leaf anatomical characteristics with parameters including cuticle thickness, epidermis, mesophyll, palisade ratio, stomata size, stomata type, shape, number of stomata and trichomes per mm2 leaf area. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to determine the diversity and to determine the similarity relationship analyzed using the Unweighted Pair Group Method Arithmatic Average (UPGMA) with MEGA 6.0 software. The results showed that four species were found, namely jackfruit (A. heterophyllus), cempedak (A. integer), breadfruit (A. altilis var. non-seminiferus) and kluwih (A. altilis var. seminiferus). The measurement results show that cempedak and breadfruit have the most distant similarity with a dissimilarity index value of 0.631, while the closest similarity relationship is jackfruit and kluwih with a dissimilarity index value of 0.086. The distinguishing characters that separated were the length and width and density of stomata in each species, type of trichome, density of trichomes, length and width of trichomes, thickness of cuticle, thickness of epidermis, thickness of mesophyll and ratio of palisade in each species.
