Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Color brightness is the selling point of ornamental fish, the higher the brightness value,
the higher the selling value. This study aimed to examine the effect of pumpkin flour
(Cucurbita moshata) on the color brightness of Guppy Fish (Poecillia reticulata) strain HB Red
and determine the best dose. The study used a completely randomized design experimental
method with five treatments (addition of pumpkin flour as much as 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and
20%) and three repetitions. Parameters observed include the level of color brightness
measured using the Colorimeter application. The results showed that the addition of
pumpkin flour to feed gave color brightness (%) up to 4.24, with the highest chroma value at
P5, which was 4.24 ± 0.39c, other parameters, namely survival, showed a value of 100%, and
water quality such as pH. , temperature, and DO are still within the normal limits of quality
standards, namely temperatures in the range of 25.6 – 27 0 C, pH 7.5 – 8, and dissolved oxygen
(DO) 6.95 – 7.93 ppm.
