| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas analisis tema dalam novel Tango dan Sadimin karya Ramayda Akmal. Teori Fakta Cerita oleh Robert Stanton digunakan sebagai langkah awal untuk menguraikan dan mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta cerita berupa karakter, alur dan latar dalam novel tersebut. Tujuannya agar dapat diketahui makna novel yang merupakan filosofi dari rangkuman unsur-unsur tersebut yang kemudian membentuk tema. Kemudian, tema-tema yang telah ditemukan dari hasil analisis unsur tersebut, diklasifikasikan ke dalam tema-tema yang berkaitan dengan perspektif ilmu lain yang masih mendukung penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan strukturalisme. Dengan menggunakan teori struktural Fakta Cerita oleh Robert Stanton, penulis mampu mendekripsikan unsur karakter, alur dan latar atau setting yang digambarkan dalam novel Tango dan Sadimin. Adapun hasil dari hasil analisis unsur-unsur tersebut jika digabungkan akan menghasilkan tema besar yaitu tema kemiskinan dan tema kecil yaitu tema kemiskinan harta seperti kemiskinan absolut dan kultural serta kemiskinan pendidikan/intelektual dan kemiskinan moral/agama. Dalam prosesnya, penulis menemukan permasalahan moralitas yang dialami oleh para tokoh di dalam alur novel yang kompleks dan berdampak pada kemunculan tema disorganisasi keluarga dan perilaku menyimpang. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research discusses the analysis of themes in the novel Tango and Sadimin by Ramayda Akmal. The Facts of The Story’s Theory by Robert Stanton is used as the first step to describe the facts of the story in the form of characters, plots and settings in the novel. The goal is to know the meaning of the novel which is the philosophy of the summary of these elements that can create a theme. Then, the themes that have been found from the results of the elemental analysis are classified into themes which are related to other scientific perspectives that still support this research. The method used is descriptive analysis with a structuralism approach. By using the theory of structuralism, The Facts of The Story by Robert Stanton, the writer is able to describe the elements of the characters, plots and background or settings which are described in the novel Tango and Sadimin. The results of the analysis of these elements will produce a big theme, namely theme of poverty and a minor theme, namely the theme of property poverty such as absolute and cultural poverty as well as educational/intellectual poverty and moral/religious poverty. In the process, the writer finds the morality problems experienced by the characters in the complex plots of the novel and have impacts on the emergence of themes namely family disorganization and deviant behavior. |
