| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Konflik batin di dalam sebuah novel memberikan gambaran latar belakang suatu permasalahan terjadi. Penyebab konflik batin bisa berasal dari diri sendiri, keluarga, teman, atau lingkungan tokoh di dalam sebuah novel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis konflik batin tokoh utama, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penyelesaian konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Serendipity karya Erisca Febriani, serta mendeskripsikan implementasi hasil penelitian tentang konflik batin tokoh utama dalam pembelajaran menganalisis pesan pada buku fiksi di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Fokus penelitian ini adalah konflik batin dalam novel Serendipity karya Erisca Febriani kajian psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Data dianalisis menggunakan pembacaan heuristik dan hermeunitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 18 konflik batin meliputi id, ego, superego dalam novel Serendipity karya Erisca Febriani. Kemudian penyelesaian konflik batin meliputi mekanisme pertahanan represi, pengalihan, rasionalisasi, regresi berupa retrogresive behavior, agresi berupa agresi langsung dan apatis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa konflik batin yang dialami oleh tokoh utama dalam novel Serendipity karya Erisca Febriani didominasi oleh ego. Hasil penelitian konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Serendipity dapat diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas XI mengenai pesan buku fiksi yang dibaca. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Inner conflict in a novel provides a background image of an occure problem. The cause of inner conflict can come from yourself, family, friends, or the environment of the characters in a novel. The objectives of this study are to describe and analyze the inner conflicts of the main character, to describe and analyze the resolution of the inner conflicts of the main character in novel Serendipity Erisca Febriani's, and to describe the implementation of the research results regarding the inner conflicts of the main character in literature learning in senior high school. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are qualitative data that obtained from the excerpt from the novel Serendipity by Erisca Febriani that published by Inari Publisher in 2016. The data were obtained by reading and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using heuristic and hermeunitic readings. The results showed that there were 18 inner conflicts id, ego, superego. The resolution form of inner conflict of the main character in the Serendipity novel consist of repression defense mechanism, diversion, the rationalization, the regression form of retrogressive behavior, the aggression form of direct aggression and apathetic. It can be concluded that the inner conflict experienced by the main character in Erisca Febriani's Serendipity novel is dominated by ego. The results of the research on the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Serendipity can be implemented in the XI class of Indonesian language learning regarding the message of the fiction book.
