| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis ektoparasit yang ditemukan serta mengetahui tingkat prevalensi dan intensitas ektoparasit pada ikan nilem yang diperjualbelikan di pasar Wage, Manis dan Cermai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dengan mengambil sampel secara acak sebanyak 90 ekor ikan dari ketiga lokasi pasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jenis – jenis ektoparasit yang menginfeksi ikan nilem yang diperjualbelikan di pasar Wage, pasar Manis dan pasar Cermai adalah Trichodina sp., Dactylogyrus sp., Gyrodactylus sp. dan Ichtyophyrius sp., untuk pasar Manis dan Cermai juga ditemukan parasit Chilodonea sp. dan Epistylis sp. Nilai intensitas ektoparasit Trichodina sp. permukaan tubuh dan insang ikan Nilem dari pasar Cermai relatif lebih tinggi daripada pasar Manis dan Pasar Wage. Intensitas ektoparasit Dactylogyrus sp., Gyrodactylus sp. dan Ichtyophyrius sp. di permukaan tubuh dan insang ikan nilem dari ketiga pasar relatif sama. Nilai intensitas ektoparasit Chilodonella sp. permukaan tubuh ikan nilem dari pasar Manis relatif lebih tinggi daripada pasar Cermai, namun intensitas pada insang relatif lebih rendah. Nilai intensitas ektoparasit Epistylis sp. pada permukaan tubuh dan insang ikan nilem dari pasar Manis dan pasar Cermai relatif sama. Nilai prevalensi tertinggi yaitu pada parasit Trichodina sp. (100%). |

Inggris) | The research objective was to determine the types of ectoparasites found and to determine the level of prevalence and intensity of ectoparasites in patchouli fish traded in the markets of Wage, Manis and Cermai. This study used an observational method by taking a random sample of 90 fish from the three market locations. The results showed that the types of ectoparasites that infect patchouli fish that are traded in the Wage market, Manis market and Cermai market are Trichodina sp., Dactylogyrus sp., Gyrodactylus sp. and Ichtyophyrius sp., for Manis and Cermai market, Chilodonella sp. parasites were also found. and Epistylis sp. Trichodina sp. Ectoparasite intensity value. The body surface and gills of Nilem fish from Cermai market were relatively higher than that of Manis and Wage markets. Ectoparasite intensity of Dactylogyrus sp., Gyrodactylus sp. and Ichtyophyrius sp. on the body and gills surface of the patchouli fish from the three markets are relatively the same. Chilodonella sp. Ectoparasite intensity values. The body surface of the nilem fish from Manis market is relatively higher than that of Cermai market, but the intensity on the gills is relatively lower. Epistylis sp. Ectoparasite intensity value. on the body and gills surface of the nilem fish from Manis market and Cermai market are relatively the same. The highest prevalence value is the parasite Trichodina sp.
