| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung kunyit (curcuma domestica Val) dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan ayam niaga petelur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 desember 2020- 23 februari 2021 di Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam niaga petelur umur 45 minggu sebanyak 80 ekor. Penelitian menggunakan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 4 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0= pakan control (pakan basal tanpa penambahan kunyit), P1 = pakan basal+tepung kunyit 1%, P2= pakan basal+ tepung kunyit 2%, P3= pakan basal+ tepung kunyit 3%. Variable yang diukur yaitu pengaruh suplementasi tepung kunyit terhadap konsumsi pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) pada pemeliharaan ayam niaga petelur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis meggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil rataan konsumsi pakan dari tertinggi sampai terendah yaitu P1 (117,61 g), P3 (116,34 g), P0 (115,99 g), dan P2 (114,71 g). hasil rataan FCR dari tertinggi sampai terendah yaitu PO (2,43), P1 (2,41), P3 (2,22) dan P2 (2,21). Berdasarkan analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa penambahan tepung kunyit berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukan suplementasi tepung kunyit pada pakan ayam petelur tidak mempengaruhi penampilan produksi meliputi konsumsi pakan dan feed convertion ratio (FCR)

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study aimed to determine the effect of turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val) in rations on the consumption and conversion of laying hen feed. The research was conducted on December 23, 2020- February 23, 2021, at the experimental farm faculty of animal husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The material used is 45-week-old laying hens as many as 80 heads. The study used RAL (Complete Randomized Design) with four treatments and five replays with each experimental unit using four chickens. The treatment given is P0= feed control (basal feed without the addition of turmeric), P1 = basal feed + turmeric flour 1%, P2= basal feed + turmeric flour 2%, P3= basal feed + turmeric flour 3%. The variable measured is turmeric flour supplementation on feed consumption and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) on the maintenance of laying hens. The data obtained is analyzed using variance analysis. The results showed that the average feed consumption from the highest to the lowest was P1 (117.61 g), P3 (116.34 g), P0 (115.99 g), and P2 (114.71 g). FCR's average results from high to lowest are PO (2.43), P1 (2.41), P3 (2.22), and P2 (2.21). Based on the analysis of variance showed that the addition of turmeric flour had no significant effect (P>0.05) on feed consumption and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). Conclusions from the results showed that turmeric flour supplementation in laying hen feed does not affect the appearance of products, including feed consumption and feed conversion ratio (FCR) |
