Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Limbah Industri pengolahan carica Dieng (Vasconcellea pubescens) menjadi permasalahan lingkungan apabila tidak tertangani dengan baik. Larva Black Soldier Fly /BSF (Hermetia illucens) sebagai agen biokonversi mampu mereduksi limbah organik secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertjuan untuk mengetahui konsumsi pakan dan indeks pengurangan limbah oleh larva BSF dalam mereduksi limbah hasil pengolahan carica Dieng. Metode penelitian eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol menggunakan pakan ayam , serta menggunakan limbah carica yang terdiri dari 100% kulit carica, 75% kulit carica + 25% biji carica, 50% kulit carica + 50% biji carica, 25% kulit carica + 75% biji carica, dan 100% biji carica,. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang 4 kali. Parameter yang di amati adalah konsumsi pakan, biomassa larva, lebar kapsul kepala, indeks pengurangan limbah (WRI), dan tingkat kelulusan hidup (SR). Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA pada tingkat ketelitian 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai konsumsi pakan oleh larva BSF berkisar antara 60,42% - 81,26%. Nilai WRI berkisar antara 2,82% - 3,73%. Biomassa tertinggi pada perlakuan kontrol sebesar 1,546 g dan biomassa terendah pada perlakuan (100% biji carica sebesar 1,144 g. Lama masa larva yang dihitung mulai usia 6 hari, pada pakan kontrol 15 hari, sedangkan pada perlakuan dengan pakan limbah carica berkisar 15-17 hari. Nilai SR teringgi (97,5%) pada perlakuan kontrol dan nilai SR terendah (62,25%) terdapat pada perlakuan 5. Larva bsf efektif dalam mereduksi limbah pengolahan carica Dieng.

Black Soldier Fly /BSF (Hermetia illucens) larvae as a bioconversion agent were able to effectively reduce organic waste. This study aims to determine feed consumption and waste reduction index by BSF larvae in reducing waste from Dieng carica processing. The experimental research method used a completely randomized design. The treatment consisted of control using chicken feed, and using carica waste consisting of 100% carica skin, 75% carica skin + 25% carica seeds, 50% carica skin + 50% carica seeds, 25% carica skin + 75% carica seeds, and 100% carica seeds. Each treatment was repeated 4 times. Parameters observed were feed consumption, larval biomass, head capsule width, waste reduction index (WRI), and survival rate (SR). Data were analyzed using ANOVA at an accuracy of 95%. The results showed that the value of feed consumption by BSF larvae ranged from 60.42% - 81.26%. WRI values ranged from 2.82% - 3.73%. The highest biomass in the control treatment was 1.546 g and the lowest biomass in the treatment (100% carica seeds was 1.144 g. The length of the larval period was calculated from the age of 6 days, in the control feed 15 days, while the treatment with carica waste feed ranged from 15-17 days. The highest SR value (97.5%) in the control treatment and the lowest SR value (62.25%) was found in treatment 5. BSF larvae were effective in reducing Dieng carica processing waste
