| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Air terjun Curug Ceheng terletak di Desa Gandatapa, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Vegetasi yang cukup rapat dan beragam di sekitarnya, mendukung area tersebut sebagai habitat satwa, khususnya burung. Informasi mengenai keanekaragaman serta status konservasi penting untuk dilakukan dalam pengelolaan selanjutnya pada habitat tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan menetapkan status konservasi spesies burung diurnal di Curug Ceheng. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2020 menggunakan metode survey Titik Hitung (Point Count). Data yang berupa jumlah total spesies, total individu setiap spesies, serta status konservasi serta status perlindungan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Keragaman burung di Curug Ceheng memiliki nilai sedang (H = 2,741). Terdata 32 spesies burung yang termasuk dalam 19 familia menghuni area sekitar Curug Ceheng. Status konservasi burung berdasarkan IUCN terdapat 28 spesies ditetapkan LC dan empat spesies DD. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri LHK No. P.106 tercatat 24 spesies dengan status tidak dilindungi dan diperdagangkan, tiga spesies dengan status dilindungi dan diperdagangkan, lima spesies berstatus tidak dilindungi dan tidak diperdagangkan, serta terdapat lima spesies dengan kategori endemik. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Curug Ceheng waterfall is located in Gandatapa Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas, Central Java. The surrounding vegetation is quite dense and diverse, supporting the area as a habitat for animals, especially birds. The Information on diversity and conservation status is important for further management of the habitats. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity and the conservation status of diurnal bird species in Curug Ceheng. This research was conducted in July 2020 using survey by Point Count method. Data in the form of the total number of species, the total number of individuals of each species, and the conservation status based on the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural (IUCN) and the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.106 of 2018, were analyzed descriptively. There were 32 bird species belonging to 19 families inhabiting the area around Curug Ceheng. Curug Ceheng Habitat has H = 2,741. According to the IUCN conservation status, there are 28 species designated as LC and four DD species. The data showed there are three species traded protected status, five unprotected and not traded species, and 24 unprotected and traded status species. Five species endemics has been found in Curug Ceheng as the consideration on Ecosystem protection. |
