Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)EDI ARIFIANTO. Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengaruh Tingkat Kepadatan Closed House Terhadap Jumlah Leukosit dan Diferensial Leukosit Ayam Broiler Strain Cobb”. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kepadatan closed house terhadap jumlah leukosit dan diferensial leukosit ayam broiler strain Cobb dan mengetahui tingkat kepadatan kandang closed house yang optimal untuk standar kenyamanan ayam. Materi penelitian terdiri dari 200 ekor DOC strain Cobb yang dipelihara selama 35 hari, kandang closed house, komponen peralatan kandang, pakan prestarter booster S00, starter S11 dan finisher S12, air minum secara ad libitum, bahan dan peralatan analisis kimia darah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan T1: 8 ekor/m², T2: 9 ekor/m², T3: 10 ekor/m², T4: 11 ekor/m², dan T5: 12 ekor/m². Hasil penelitian rataan jumlah leukosit T1 (7.837,5); T2 (7.312,5); T3 (8.250); T4 (13.613); T5 (11.875). Kadar heterofil T1 (47,25 %); T2 (47 %); T3 (39,75 %); T4 (29,5 %); T5 (33,25 %). Kadar eosinofil T1 (2,5 %); T2 (1,75 %); T3 (1,75 %); T4 (2,75 %); T5 (3,75 %). Kadar basofil T1 (0 %); T2 (0 %); T3 (0 %); T4 (0 %); T5 (0 %). Kadar limfosit T1 (45 %); T2 (46,25 %); T3 (53,25 %); T4 (59,25 %); T5 (53,25 %). Kadar monosit T1 (5,25 %); T2 (5 %); T3 (5,25 %); T4 (8,5 %); T5 (9,75 %). Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepadatan closed house berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap jumlah leukosit, persentase eosinofil, dan persentase monosit, berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase heterofil dan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap persentase basofil dan limfosit ayam broiler strain Cobb. Kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kepadatan closed house maka semakin tinggi jumlah leukosit dan diferensial leukosit ayam broiler strain Cobb dan tingkat kepadatan kandang closed house yang paling optimal untuk standar kenyamanan ayam adalah 10 ekor/m² (T3).
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)EDI ARIFIANTO. The study, entitled "The Effect of Closed House Density Levels on the Number of Leukocytes and Differential Leukocytes of Broiler Cobb Strain Chickens". The research objective was to determine the effect of closed house density level on the leucocyte count and leucocyte differential of broiler Cobb strain chickens and to determine the optimal closed house cage density for chicken comfort standards. The research materials consisted of 200 DOC Cobb strains maintained for 35 days, closed house cages, cage equipment components, prestarter booster feed S00, starter S11 and finisher S12, drinking water ad libitum, materials and blood chemistry analysis equipment. The research was conducted by using the experimental method. The research design used was a completely randomized design, with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment T1: 8 birds / m², T2: 9 birds / m², T3: 10 birds / m², T4: 11 birds / m², and T5: 12 birds / m². The results of the study were the average T1 leukocyte count (7,837.5); T2 (7,312,5); T3 (8,250); T4 (13,613); T5 (11,875). Heterophile T1 levels (47.25%); T2 (47%); T3 (39.75%); T4 (29.5%); T5 (33.25%). Eosinophil T1 levels (2.5%); T2 (1.75%); T3 (1.75%); T4 (2.75%); T5 (3.75%). Basophil T1 level (0%); T2 (0%); T3 (0%); T4 (0%); T5 (0%). T1 lymphocyte levels (45%); T2 (46.25%); T3 (53.25%); T4 (59.25%); T5 (53.25%). T1 monocyte levels (5.25%); T2 (5%); T3 (5.25%); T4 (8.5%); T5 (9.75%). The results of the analysis of variance showed that the level of closed house density had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the number of leukocytes, the percentage of eosinophils, and the percentage of monocytes, had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the percentage of heterophils and had no significant effect on the percentage of basophils and Cobb strain broiler chicken lymphocytes. The conclusion is that the higher the closed house density, the higher the leucocyte count and leucocyte differential of broiler Cobb strains and the optimal closed house cage density for the comfort standard of chickens is 10 birds / m² (T3).
