| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Pengaruh Suplementasi Tepung Kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) terhadap Jumlah Leukosit dan Diferensial Leukosit pada Ayam Petelur” telah dilaksanakan di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Kesehatan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Pada tanggal 23 Desember 2020-23 Februari 2021. Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) terhadap jumlah leukosit da diferensial leukosit, serta untuk mengetahui level suplementasi tepung kunyit yang paling optimal. Materi yang digunakan adalah 80 ekor ayam petelur strain Isa Brown yang dipelihara selama 8 minggu, kandang batere yang dilengkapi dengan tempat pakan dan minum, komponen peralatan kandang, pakan pakan ayam komersil periode produksi, tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.), air minum yang diberikan secara ad libitum, bahan dan peralatan analisis kimia darah seperti EDTA (Ethylen Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid), spuit disposible, dan Hemathology analyzer. Penelitian ini dilakukan sengan metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam petelur. Perlakuan penambahan tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) meliputi R0 (penambahan 0%), R1 (penambahan 1%), R2 (penambahan 2%), dan R3 (penambahan 3%). Rataan jumlah leukosit pada perlakuan R0,R1,R2,R3 secara berurutan 78000 ± 17815,3 /µL; 66800 ± 8886,5 /µL; 77600 ± 38255,7 /µL; 124000 ± 73354,1 /µL. Rataan jumlah leukosit terendah yaitu pada R1 dengan jumlah 66800 ± 8886,5 /µL dan rataan tertinggi yaitu pada R3 dengan jumlah 124000 ± 73354.1 /µL. Rataan jumlah leukosit granulosit pada perlakuan R0, R1, R2, R3 secara berurutan 3599,998 ± 3043,847 /µL; 2740,000 ± 1105,893 /µL; 3940,000 ± 4997,800 /µL; 33880,002 ± 44765,577 /µL. Rataan jumlah leukosit granulosit terendah yaitu pada R1 dengan jumlah 2740.000 ± 1105.893 /µL dan rataan tertinggi yaitu pada R3 dengan jumlah 33880.002 ± 44765.577 /µL. Rataan jumlah leukosit agranulosit pada perlakuan R0, R1, R2, R3 secara berurutan 74400 ± 14831,2 /µL; 64060 ± 8370,7 /µL; 73660 ± 33361,5 /µL; 90120 ± 72123 /µL. Rataan jumlah leukosit agranulosit terendah yaitu pada R1 dengan jumlah 64060 ± 8370.7 /µL dan rataan tertinggi yaitu pada R3 dengan jumlah 90120 ± 72123 /µL. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) berpengaruh tidak nyata (F hitung < F tabel 0,05) terhadap jumlah leukosit, jumlah leukosit granulosit, dan jumlah leukosit agranulosit. Suplementasi tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) sampai dengan level pemberian 3 % belum mampu meningkatkan status kesehatan ternak berdasarkan jumlah leukosit, dan diferensial leukosit. Inggris) | The study entitled "The Effect of Turmeric Flour Supplementation (Curcuma domestica Val.) on the Number of Leukocytes and Differential Leukocytes in Laying Chickens "was carried out at the Experimental Farm and Animal Health Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, on 23 December 2020-23 February 2021. This research aims to determine the effect of turmeric flour supplementation ( Curcuma domestica Val.) on the leukocyte count and leucocyte differential, as well as to determine the optimal level of turmeric flour supplementation. The materials used was 80 layers of Isa Brown strain chickens kept for 8 weeks, battery tanks equipped with feed and drinking containers, cage equipment components, commercial chicken feed for the production period, turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val.), drinking water provided. ad libitum, materials and blood chemistry analysis equipment such as EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid), disposable syringes, and Rayto RT-7600 Hemathology analizer, and special wipes used to clean the device during blood analysis. This research was conducted with an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, each replication consisting of 4 laying hens. The treatment of adding turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val.) includes R0 (addition of 0%), R1 (addition of 1%), R2 (addition of 2%), and R3 (addition of 3%). The average number of leukocytes in treatment R0, R1, R2, R3 respectively 78000 ± 17815,3 /µL; 66800 ± 8886,5 /µL; 77600 ± 38255,7 /µL; 124000 ± 73354,1 /µL. The lowest average number of leukocytes was at R1 with the number 66800 ± 8886.5 mm3/µl and the highest average was on R3 with the number 124000 ± 73354.1 /µL. The average number of granulocyte leukocytes in treatment R0, R1, R2, R3 respectively 3599,998 ± 3043,847 /µL; 2740,000 ± 1105,893 /µL; 3940,000 ± 4997,800 /µL; 33880,002 ± 44765,577 /µL. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the supplementation of turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val.) had no significant effect (F count <F table 0.05) on the number of leukocytes, the number of granulocyte leukocytes, and the number of leukocytes agranulocytes. Suplementation of turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val.) up to a level of 3 % was not able to improve the health status of livestock based on the number of leukocytes and laukocyte differential.
