| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas fungsi kuasa untuk uji hipotesis arah kanan pada distribusi binomial dan distribusi geometrik. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan daerah penolakan dari uji parameter arah kanan pada masing-masing distribusi adalah UMP test. Selanjutnya, fungsi kuasa ditentukan berdasarkan daerah penolakan tersebut. Grafik fungsi kuasa disimulasikan menggunakan software R versi 4.0.5. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa untuk uji dengan ukuran sampel tertentu, batas daerah penolakan k berpengaruh terhadap ukuran uji. Pada distribusi binomial, semakin besar k, maka ukuran uji akan semakin kecil. Sementara itu pada distribusi geometrik, semakin besar k, maka ukuran uji akan semakin besar. Grafik fungsi kuasa untuk uji parameter arah kanan pada masing-masing distribusi dengan ᵖₒ dan α yang ditetapkan menunjukkan bahwa kuasa suatu uji dapat diperkuat dengan penambahan ukuran sampel. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research discussed the power function for the right-side hypothesis testing in binomial distribution and geometric distribution. The method used to determine the rejection region for the right-side parameter testing in each distribution is the UMP test. Furthermore, the power functions are determined based on the rejection region. The graph of the power function was simulated using R software version 4.0.5. The simulation results show that for a test with a certain sample size, the rejection region boundary k affects the size of the test. In the binomial distribution, the larger k, the smaller size of the test. Meanwhile, in geometric distribution, the larger k, the larger size of the test. The graph of the power function for the right-side parameter testing in each distribution with defined ᵖₒ and α show that the power of the test can be strengthened by increasing the sample size. |
