| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH TINGKAT KEPADATAN CLOSED HOUSE TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KONVERSI PAKAN AYAM BROILER STRAIN ROSS PERIODE FINISHER (THE EFFECT OF DENSITY LEVEL OF CLOSED HOUSE ON FEED CONSUMPTION AND FEED CONVERSION OF BROILER STRAIN ROSS IN THE FINISHER PERIOD) |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepadatan kandang closed house terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan pada ayam broiler Strain Ross. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah day old chik (DOC) broiler strain Ross sebanyak 200 ekor unsex yang dipelihara selama 34 hari. Bahan penelitian terdiri atas pakan prestarter S-00, pakan starter S-11, pakan finisher S-12G. Rancangan Percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan adalah kepadatan kandang dengan T1 = 8 ekor/m2,T2 = 9 ekor/m2, T3 = 10 ekor/m2, T4 = 11 ekor/m2, T5 = 12 ekor/m2. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental berdasarkan bobot badan yang telah dikonversikan kedalam jumlah ayam pada umur 21-34 hari. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di lakukan analisis variansi (ANAVA) dan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Analisis variansi menunjukkan perlakuan kepadatan kandang berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, akan tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konversi pakan ayam broiler strain Ross yang dipelihara sampai umur 34 hari. Hasil uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) konsumsi pakan menunjukkan konsumsi pakan yang tertinggi pada tingkat kepadatan kandang 9 ekor/m2 (T2) dengan rata-rata konsumsi pakan 1071,95 ± 14,33 g/ekor dan konsumsi pakan terendah pada tingkat kepadatan kandang 12 ekor/m2 (T5) dengan rata-rata konsumsi pakan sebesar 1012,58 ± 13,66 g/ekor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui kepadatan kandang yang efisien ditinjau dari konsumsi dan konversi pakan yaitu pada kepadatan kandang 12 ekor/m2 (T5). |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research objective was to study the effect of closed house density on feed consumption and conversion of Ross Strain broiler chickens. The material used in the study was 200 day old chik (DOC) broiler Ross strain which were kept for 34 days. The raction consisted of pre-starter feed S-00, starter feed S-11, finisher feed S-12G. The experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments tested were cage density with T1 = 8 chickens/m2, T2 = 9 chickens/m2, T3 = 10 chickens/m2, T4 = 11 chickens/m2, T5 = 12 chickens/m2. The research was conducted experimentally based on body weight that has been converted into the number of chickens at the age of 21-34 days. The data obtained were then analyzed using analyses (ANOVA) and the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The analysis of variance showed that cage density had a significant effect (P<0.05) on feed consumption, but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the feed conversion of Ross strain broiler chickens maintained until 34 days of age. The results of the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) feed consumption showed the highest feed consumption at the cage density level of 9 chickens/m2 (T2) with an average feed consumption of 1071.95 ± 14.33 g/chickens and the lowest feed consumption at this level cage density of 12 chickens/m2 (T5) with an average feed consumption of 1012.58 ± 13.66 g/chickens. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the efficient cage density in terms of feed consumption and conversion is the density of 12 chickens/m2 (T5). |
