| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Skripsi dengan judul “Pengaruh Suplementasi Probiotik dan Acidifier Terhadap Bobot Dan Haugh Unit Telur Ayam Niaga Petelur”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi probiotik dan acidifier dengan level berbeda terhadap bobot dan haugh unit telur ayam niaga petelur. Penelitian dilakukan selama 8 minggu di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Teknologi Hasil Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah ayam niaga petelur betina umur 64 minggu sebanyak 80 ekor. Penelitian dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok perlakuan yaitu P0 : pakan basal (kontrol); P1 : pakan basal + suplementasi probiotik dan acidifier 0,5%; P2 : pakan basal + suplementasi probiotik dan acidifier 1%; P3 : pakan basal + suplementasi probiotik dan acidifier 1,5%. Data yang diambil meliputi bobot telur dan haugh unit. Penimbangan bobot telur dilakukan setiap hari, pengukuran haugh unit telur dilakukan pada minggu ke-5 sebanyak 4 kali pengambilan sampel. Hasil rataan bobot telur pada penelitian diperoleh P0 = 59,48; P1 = 59,38 ; P2= 59,98 ; P3 = 61,13. Hasil rataan haugh unit telur diperoleh P0= 89,29; P1= 90,52; P2= 88,51; P3= 89,49. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan probiotik dan acidifier dalam pakan memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot telur dan haugh unit ayam niaga petelur. Penambahan probiotik dengan level 0,5-1,5% menghasilkan bobot telur dan haugh unit yang relatif sama. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Thesis with the title “Effect of Probiotic and Acidifier Supplementation on Weight and Haugh Unit of Commercial Chicken Eggs”. This study aimed to examine the effect of probiotic and acidifier supplementation at different levels on the weight and haugh unit of egg. The research was conducted for 8 weeks at the Experimental Farm and Animal Product Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The research design used was a completely randomized design. The research material was 80 commercial laying hens aged 64 weeks. The study was divided into 4 treatment groups, namely P0: basal feed (control); P1: basal feed + 0,5% probiotic and acidifier supplementation; P2: basal feed + 1% probiotic and acidifier supplementation; P3: basal feed + 1,5% probiotic and acidifier supplementation. The data taken were egg weight and haugh unit. Egg weighing was carried out every day, haugh unit measurement was carried out at week 5 for 4 sampling replications. The results of the average egg weight in the study were P0 = 59,48; P1 = 59,38; P2 = 59,98; P3 = 61,13 grams. The average haugh unit yield was P0 = 89,29; P1 = 90,52; P2 = 88,51; P3 = 89,49. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the suplementation of probiotic and acidifier in the feed had no significant effect (P>0,05) on egg weight and haugh units of hens commercial laying. The addition of probiotics and acidifier with a level of 0,5-1,5% produces relatively the same egg weight and haugh unit. |
