Indonesia) | Skripsi berjudul “Penggunaan Asam Laktat Sebagai Acidifier dalam Pakan yang Mengandung Probiotik dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Bobot dan Panjang Usus Halus Ayam Sentul Betina”. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan asam laktat sebagai acidifier dalam pakan probiotik dan pengaruhnya terhadap bobot dan panjang usus halus ayam Sentul betina. Penelitian mengunakan materi yaitu ayam Sentul betina umur 24 minggu sebanyak 60 ekor dalam kandang berjumlah 60 unit, probiotik BAL, Bahan Acidifier (asam laktat) berupa larutan biang (5 ml asam laktat dan 200 ml aquadest) dan pakan disusun sendiri dengan kandungan energi 2853,60 kkal dan protein kasar 18,39%. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah R0: pakan probiotik tanpa penambahan asam laktat; R1: pakan probiotik dengan penambahan asam laktat 0,5%; R2: pakan probiotik dengan penambahan asam laktat 1,0%; R3: pakan probiotik dengan penambahan asam laktat 1,5%. Rancangan percobaan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 percobaan dan 5 ulangan dengan uji lanjut uji Orthogonal Polinomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan panjang usus halus ayam Sentul betina. Data rataan bobot relatif duodenum pada perlakuan R0, R1, R2 dan R3 berturut-turut yaitu 1,16%; 1,03%; 1,09% dan 1,22%, rataan bobot relatif jejenum berturut-turut yaitu 0,42%; 0,45%; 0,38% dan 0,45%, serta rataan bobot relatif ileum berturut-turut yaitu 0,46%; 0,39%; 0,37% dan 0,29%. Data rataan panjang relatif duodenum berturut-turut yaitu 6,01%; 5,09%; 5,42% dan 5,95%, rataan panjang relatif jejenum berturut-turut yaitu 1,93%; 1,79%; 1,75% dan 2,45%, serta rataan panjang relatif ileum berturut-turut yaitu 1,95%; 1,94%; 1,68% dan 1,59%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan penggunaan asam laktat sebagai acidifier dalam pakan probiotik pada ayam Sentul betina belum mampu meningkatkan bobot dan panjang usus halus ayam Sentul betina. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Thesis entitled “Use of Lactic Acid as an Acidifier in Feed Containing Probiotics on Weight and Length of The Small Intestine of The Female Sentul Chickens”. This research’s aim was to examine the use of lactic acid as an acidifier in probiotic feeds on the weight and length of the small intestine of female Sentul chickens. The research material used 60 female Sentul chickens aged 24 weeks in 60 cages for each unit, Lactic Acid Bacteria Probiotics, Acidifier (lactic acid) in the form of starter solution (5 ml of lactic acid and 200 ml of aquadest), and self-rationed feed with an energy content of 2853.60 kcal and crude protein 18.39%. The treatments used were R0: probiotic feed without the addition of lactic acid; R1: probiotic feed with the addition of 0.5% lactic acid; R2: probiotic feed with the addition of lactic acid 1.0%; R3: probiotic feed with the addition of 1.5% lactic acid. The experimental design was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications with further Orthogonal Polynomial test. The results showed that the treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the weight and length of the intestines of female Sentul chickens. The average data of duodenum relative weights in treatment R0, R1, R2 and R3 were 1.16%; 1.03%; 1.09% and 1.22%, respectively, the average relative weights of the jejunum were 0.42%; 0.45%; 0.38% and 0.45%, respectively, and the average relative weights of ileum were 0.46%; 0.39%; 0.37% and 0.29% respectively. The average data for the relative lengths of the duodenum was 6.01%; 5.09%; 5.42% and 5.95%, respectively, the average relative lengths of the jejunum were 1.93%; 1.79%; 1.75% and 2.45%, respectively, and the average relative lengths of the ileum were 1.95%; 1.94%; 1.68% and 1.59%, respectively. The conclusion of this research showed that the use of lactic acid as acidification in probiotic feed-in female Sentul chickens did not increase the weight and length of the small intestines of female Sentul chickens. |
