| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Artikel penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh terpaan berita politik di media sosial instagram terhadap tingkat partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di Kelurahan Mustikajaya, Kota Bekasi dalam Pemilihan Presiden tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan perspektif behavioralisme serta paradigma positivism. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa hipotesis kerja atau H1 diterima. Artinya, ada pengaruh antara terpaan berita politik di media sosial instagram terhadap tingkat partisipasi politik pemilih pemula. Hal tersebut dilandasi dari hasil uji regresi linear sederhananya yang nilai t hitung sebesar (7,273) > t tabel (1,660) serta R squarenya juga menunjukkan angka 0,351 yang artinya pengaruh terpaan berita politik di media sosial instagram terhadap partisipasi politik pemilih pemula adalah 35,1% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 64,9% partisipasi politik dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu telah terbukti bahwa hipotesis kerja atau H1 diterima atas dasar hasil uji regresi linear sederhananya dan R square. Maka dari itu, artinya ada pengaruh terpaan berita politik di media sosial instagram terhadap partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di Kelurahan Mustikajaya dalam Pilpres 2019 di Kota Bekasi. Sedangkan, implikasinya adalah kecenderungan, pengaruh antara variabel terpaan berita politik terhadap variabel partisipasi politik adalah positif. Maka, tingkat partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di Kelurahan Mustikajaya akan meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya terpaan berita politik di media sosial instagram yang diterima oleh pemilih pemula. |

Inggris) | This research article aims to find out whether there is an influence and how much influence political news on social media instagram to the level of political participation of novice voters in Mustikajaya Village, Bekasi City in the 2019 Presidential Election. The method used is quantitative method, using behavioralism perspective and positivism paradigm. The results of this study revealed that the working hypothesis or H1 is accepted. That is, there is an influence between the exposure of political news on social media instagram to the political participation rate of novice voters. This is based on the results of a simple linear regression test whose calculated t value of (7,273) > t table (1,660) and R squarenya also showed a figure of 0.351 which means the influence of political news on social media instagram on the political participation of novice voters is 35.1% while the remaining 64.9% political participation is influenced by other variables not studied in this study. The conclusion of this study is that it has been proven that the working hypothesis or H1 is accepted on the basis of the results of simple linear regression test and R square. Therefore, it means that there is an influence on political news on social media instagram to the political participation of novice voters in Mustikajaya Village in the 2019 Presidential Election in Bekasi City. Meanwhile, the implication is that the tendency, the influence between the variables of political news exposure to the variables of political participation is positive. Thus, the political participation rate of novice voters in Mustikajaya Village will increase along with the increasing exposure of political news on social media instagram received by novice voters. |
