| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Total penyandang disabilitas di Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat sebanyak 182 jiwa dan merupakan jumlah penyandang disabilitas terbanyak jika dibandingkan dengan Kecamatan Purwokerto lainnya. Maka dari itu perlu adanya perhatian dari Dinsospermades Banyumas untuk memfokuskan kepada pemberdayaan masyarakat disabilitas. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Dinsospermades Banyumas dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat penyandang disabilitas di Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis interaktif. Dari sisi fasilitator, Dinsospermades Banyumas telah menjalankannya dengan baik dan perencanaan yang dilakukan sudah efektif tetapi masih belum dikatakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat penyandang disabilitas. Lalu melihat sisi edukatif, beberapa sub aspek sudah berjalan dengan baik namun tidak ada unsur keberlanjutan dari program yang diperlukan. Lalu pada aspek representatif, Dinsospermades Banyumas menjalankan tugas dan fungsi representatif dengan sangat baik dikarenakan juga dibantu oleh pihak – pihak yang perduli akan isu disabilitas, meskipun masih meiliki sedikit kekurangan. Dari sisi teknis, kemampuan pegawai Dinsospermades Banyumas sudah amat sangat tanggap dalam menyelesaikan isu disabilitas meskipun tidak maksimal dikarenakan Dinsospermades Banyumas mempunyai banyak cakupan, tidak hanya mengenai isu disabilitas. |

Inggris) | The total number of people with disabilities in West Purwokerto District is 182 people and is the highest number of people with disabilities when compared to other Purwokerto Districts, Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention from the Banyumas Department of Social Affairs to focus on empowering people with disabilities. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of the Social Service and Community and Village Empowerment in empowering people with disabilities in Banyumas Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Selection of informants using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Collecting data used in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is an interactive analysis method. From the facilitator's point of view, the Social Service and Community and Village Development in Banyumas Regency has implemented it well and the planning has been effective but it is still not said that it is in line with the needs of the people with disabilities. Then looking at the educational side, several sub-aspects have gone well but there is no element of sustainability of the program needed. Then in the representative aspect, Social Service and Community and Village Development in Banyumas Regency performs representative duties and functions very well because it is also assisted by parties who care about disability issues, although they still have some shortcomings. From a technical point of view, the ability of the Social Service and Community and Village Developmnet in Banyumas Regency employees is very responsive in resolving disability issues even though it is not optimal because the Banyumas Dinsospermades has a lot of coverage, not only regarding disability issues. |
