| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pemupukan merupakan salah satu alternatif upaya peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas mentimun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendapat dosis pupuk kascing terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun. (2) mendapatkan pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun. (3) mendapatkan kombinasi yang terbaik antara dosis pupuk kascing dan pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik terhadpa pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Screen House Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Karangwangkal, Purwokerto Utara, Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman mulai bulan Agustus hingga bulan November 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan faktorial 3x3 dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dua faktor yaitu dosis pupuk kascing (500, 1000, 1500 g/tanaman) dan pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik (0, 25, dan 50% terhadap dosis rekomendasi) sembilan bentuk perlakuan tersebut diulang tiga kali, setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas tiga tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk kascing berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, jumlah buah dan panjang buah. Pemberian 1000 g/tanaman pupuk kascing lebih direkomendasikan karena memberikan hasil tertinggi. Pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering, bobot akar segar dan jumlah buah. Pengurangan 25% pupuk anorganik lebih direkomendasikan karena memberikan hasil tertinggi. Interaksi antara dosis pupuk kascing dan pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik berpengaruh terhadap jumlah dun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering, bobot akar segar dan bobot akar kering. Pemberian 1000 g/tanaman pupuk kascing + 25% pengurangan dosis pupuk anorganik lenih disarankan karena memberikan hasil tertinggi. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Fertilization is an alternative effort to increase the quantity and quality of cucumbers. This study aimed to: (1) get the best dose of vermicompost for growth and yield of cucumber. (2) get the best reduction of inorganic fertilizers dose for the growth and yield of cucumber. (3) get the best combination between vermicompost dose and reduction fertilizer dose on cucumber growth and yield. The research was carried out at the Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Karangwangkal, Purwokerto Utara; the Laboratory of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from August to November 2020. This research is a 3x3 factorial experiment with two-factors, randomized completely block design (RCBD), observed factors were dose of vermicompost (500, 1000, 1500 g / plant) and the reduction of inorganic fertilizers (0, 25, and 50% of the recommended dose). The nine treatment were repeated three times, each experimental unit consisting of three plants. The results showed that the application of vermicompost affected plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh shoot, weight of dry shoot, weight of fresh root, weight of dry root, number of fruits and fruit length. Application of 1000 g / plant of vermicompost is recommended because it gives the highest yield. Reduction of inorganic fertilizers affects plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh shoot, weight of dry shoot, weight of fresh root and number of fruits. A 25% reduction in inorganic fertilizers is recommended because it gives the highest yield for each variable. The application of vermicompost and the reduction of inorganic fertilizers affected the number of leaf, weight of fresh shoot, weight of dry shoot, weight of fresh root and weight of dry root. Application 1000 g / plant vermicompost fertilizer + 25% reduction in inorganic fertilizer dose is recommended because it gives the highest yield. |
