| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan kelompok teman sebaya terhadap karakter diri siswa. Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA IT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto. Metode penelitian ini adalah survei dengan menyebarkan angket kepada siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan penentuan jumlah sampel dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin diperoleh hasil sebanyak 84 sampel. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi Product Moment (KPM) dan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil uji signifikansi antara variabel X1 dan Y sebesar 0.046 sedangkan uji signifikansi antara X2 dan Y sebesar 0.000. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa p value < 0.05 sehingga pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dengan karakter diri siswa dan pengaruh kelompok teman sebaya dengan karakter diri siswa dinyatakan signifikan. Hasil uji signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua (X1) dan kelompok teman sebaya (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap karakter diri siswa (Y) sebesar 0.000 (<0.05) sehingga pengaruh pola asuh orang tua (X1) dan kelompok teman sebaya (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap karakter diri siswa (Y) dinyatakan signifikan.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research explains the effect of parenting styles from parents and peer groups towards student's self-character. Respondents in this research are the students of SMA IT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto. The method used in this research is a survey method by distributing questionnaires to students. Sampling was taken using proportionate stratified random sampling with the determination of the number of samples calculated using the Slovin formula, in order to obtain the results of 84 samples. This research used the Product Moment Correlation Test and Multiple Linear Regression as the data analysis method. The result of the significance test between the variables X1 and Y is 0.046, while the significance test between X2 and Y is 0.000. This figure shows that the p value <0.05 so that the influence of parenting style with student’s self-character and the influence of peer groups with student’s self-character is significant. The significant test results between the parenting style of parents (X1) and peer group (X2) together on student’s self-character (Y) is 0.000 (<0.05) so that the influence of parenting styles (X1) and peer groups (X2) together on the student's character (Y) is significant.
