| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Peningkatan pertumbuhan penduduk di perkotaan dan pedesaan telah memicu peningkatan layanan pelanggan. Mempertimbangkan kebutuhan masyarakat yang sangat membutuhkan pelayanan yang cepat, handal dan efisien, media transmisi menjadi penting disini. Solusinya adalah dengan menggunakan jaringan fiber optic. Fiber optic adalah saluran transmisi atau sejenis kabel yang terbuat dari kaca atau plastik yang sangat halus dan lebih kecil dari sehelai rambut, dan dapat digunakan untuk mentrasnmisikan sinyal cahaya dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. Ada beberapa teknologi untuk menerapkan fiber optic salah satunya yaitu FTTH ( Fiber To The Home) . FTTH (Fiber To The Home) merupakan salah satu infrastruktur jaringan berbasis GPON (Gigabit passive Optical Network) yang akan dikembangkan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, tanpa terkecuali cluster Banyaksumba di Kawasan Kota Baru Parahyangan. Hasil analisis dari perancangan jaringan FTTH di cluster Banyaksumba didapatkan hasil yang baik dari 3 aspeknya, yaitu power link budget, rise time budget, dan bit error rate. Nilai power receive yang didapatkan pada jalur downlink sebesar -16,2799 dBm pada pelanggan terjauh dan untuk jalur uplink sebesar -17,2044 dBm pada pelanggan terjauh, sementara nilai rise time budget yang didapatkan sebesar 0,28714493 ns untuk jalur downlink pada pelanggan terjauh dan sebesar 0,2527036 ns untuk jalur uplink pada pelanggan terjauh dan yang terakhir yaitu bit error rate dimana hasil yang didapatkan dari simulasi dengan software optisystem dapat dikatakan baik karena tidak melebihi batas sebesar 〖10〗^(-9) dan Q-factor juga sudah melebihi batas minimal sebesar 6. |

Taking into account the needs of people who really need fast, reliable and efficient service, transmission media is important here. The solution is to use a fiber optic network. Optical fiber is a transmission line or a type of cable made of glass or plastic which is very fine and smaller than a strand of hair, and can be used to transmit light signals from one place to another. There are several technologies for implementing fiber optic, one of which is FTTH (Fiber To The Home). FTTH (Fiber To The Home) is a network infrastructure based on GPON (Gigabit passive Optical Network) which will be developed throughout Indonesia, without exception the Banyaksumba cluster in Kota Baru Parahyangan area. The results of the analysis of the FTTH network design in the Banyaksumba cluster have good results from 3 aspects, namely the power link budget, rise time budget, and bit error rate. The power receive value obtained on the downlink line is -16.2799 dBm for the farthest customer and for the uplink line is -17.2044 dBm for the farthest customer, while rise time budget value obtained is 0.28714493 ns for the downlink path on the farthest customer and amounting to 0.2527036 ns for the uplink path on the farthest customer and the last one is the bit error rate where the results obtained from the simulation with optical system software can be said to be good because they do not exceed the limit 〖10〗^(-9) and the Q-factor has also exceeded the minimum limit of 6. |
