| Judul Artikel | Tingkat Infeksi dan Identifikasi Cestodiasis pada Sapi Potong berbagai umur di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat infeksi cestodiasis dan mengidentidikasi jenis Cestoda pada sapi potong berbagai umur di Kecamatan Sumbang. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Oktober 2020 sampai dengan 3 Januari 2021 di peternakan sapi potong Kecamatan Sumbang. Sasaran dari penelitian ini yaitu sapi potong dengan periode pedet (1-8 bulan), muda (9-18 bulan) dan dewasa (>18 bulan). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu feses sapi potong sebanyak 5 gram per ekor dengan masing-masing periode 32 ekor. Variabel yang diukur yaitu tingkat infeksi cestodiasis dan species Moniezia sp. Data analisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan chi square. Jenis Moniezia yang menginfeksi adalah Moniezia benedini dan Moniezia expansa. Tingkat infeksi Cestodiasis periode pedet sebesar 8,33%, periode muda sebesar 11,46%, periode Dewasa sebesar 7,29%. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa tingkat infeksi Cestodiasis pada sapi potong di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas dapat dikategorikan sedang. P > 0,05 menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat infeksi cestodiasis pada sapi potong berbagai umur di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa tingkat infeksi cestodiasis tidak berbeda nyata pada sapi periode pedet, muda, dan dewasa. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT The research aims to determine the rate of cestodiasis infection and identify the type of Cestoda in beef cattle of various ages in Sumbang Subdistrict. Data collection was carried out on 29 October 2020 to 3 January 2021 at the cattle farm in Sumbang Subdistrict. The targets of this study were cattle with calf periods (1-8 months), veal (9-18 months) and adults (> 18 months). The research method used is a survey method with purposive sampling technique sampling. The sample used was beef cattle feces as much as 5 grams per head with 32 cows for each period. The variables measured were the infection rate of cestodiasis and species Moniezia sp. The data were analyzed using descriptive methods and chi square. The types of Moniezia that infect are Moniezia benedini and Moniezia expansa. The infection rate of cestodiasis in calf period was 8.33%, veal period was 11.46%, adult period was 7.29%. These results indicate that the infection rate of Cestodiasis in cattle in Sumbang Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency can be categorized as moderate. P > 0.05 indicates that there is no difference in the infection rate of cestodiasis in beef cattle of various ages in Sumbang Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The conclusion of this study is that the infection rate of cestodiasis is not significantly different in calves, veal and adult cattle. |
