| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kualitas susu segar kambing PE ditinjau dari kadar protein dan laktosa serta mengkaji hubungan antara keduanya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 01 November – 28 Desember 2020 di tiga desa terpilih Kecamatan Kaligesing. Desa terpilih didasarkan pada stratifikasi populasi (besar, sedang, dan kecil) yaitu Pandanrejo, Tlogoguwo, dan Kaliharjo untuk diambil data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Jumlah peternak di tiga desa terpilih secara berurutan adalah 23 peternak, 10 peternak dan 4 peternak. Susu segar kambing PE diambil 500 ml dari masing-masing sampel peternak, kemudian diuji kadar protein dan laktosanya dengan Laktoscan sebagai data kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Laboratoriun Ternak Perah Fakultas Peternakan Unsoed. Data yang terkumpul dilakukan analisis Deskriptif, Uji t, dan Regresi linear sederhana, sedangkan data kualitatif diambil berdasarkan wawancara secara terstruktur. Rataan kadar protein dan laktosa susu segar kambing PE di tiga desa tidak berbeda nyata (Sign. 2-tailed > 0,05), namun demikian terdapat hubungan yang sangat erat antara protein dengan laktosa. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) kadar protein dan laktosa susu segar kambing PE di desa Pandanrejo, Tlogoguwo, dan Kaliharjo Kecamatan Kaligesing relatif sama dan termasuk baik), (2) kadar protein bisa diprediksi dengan kadar laktosa susu kambing PE dengan formulasi Y = 0,3895 + 0,8565X. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to assess the quality of fresh PE goat milk in terms of protein and lactose levels and to examine the relationship between the two. The research was conducted on 01 November - 28 December 2020 in three selected villages, Kaligesing District. The selected villages were based on population stratification (large, medium, and small), namely Pandanrejo, Tlogoguwo, and Kaliharjo to collect quantitative and qualitative data. The number of breeders in the three selected villages is 23 breeders, 10 breeders, and 4 breeders. Fresh milk of PE goat was taken 500 ml from each farmer's sample, then tested for protein and lactose levels with Laktoscan as quantitative data which was carried out at the Dairy Livestock Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unsoed. The data collected were analyzed through descriptive analysis, t-test, and simple linear regression, while the qualitative data was taken based on structured interviews. The mean protein and lactose levels of fresh PE goat milk in the three villages were not significantly different (Sign. 2-tailed> 0.05), however, there was a very close relationship between protein and lactose. This research can be concluded that: (1) protein and lactose content of fresh PE goat milk in the villages of Pandanrejo, Tlogoguwo, and Kaliharjo, Kaligesing District are relatively the same and considered good, (2) protein content can be predicted by the lactose content of PE goat's milk with the formulation Y = 0.3895 + 0.8565X. |
