| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Gempa merupakan pergeseran tiba-tiba dari lapisan tanah di bawah permukaan bumi. Ketika pergeseran ini terjadi, timbul getaran yang disebut gelombang seismik. Gelombang ini menjalar menjauhi fokus gempa ke segala arah di dalam bumi. Gempa bumi berdampak korban jiwa dan harta, serta kerusakan infrastruktur. Tidak terkecuali pada bangunan gedung. Pengaruh gempa terhadap kerentanan suatu bangunan dapat diidentifikasikan dengan menggunakan Metode Rapid Visual Screening (RVS). Metode ini berpedoman pada FEMAP-154 dengan cut-off-score +2,00 sehingga apabila skor berada dibawah cut-off-score maka gedung tersebut memiliki tingkat kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap gempa. Apabila skor berada diatas cut-off-score maka gedung tersebut kerentanannya sangat rendah terhadap gempa. Gedung Pelayanan Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Unsoed merupakan gedung dengan peruntukkan pelayanan kebutuhan pendidikan yang terletak di Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Gedung 3 lantai ini dibangun pada tahun 2020 yang diperuntukkan sebagai fasilitas pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kerentanan suatu bangunan terhadap gempa dengan Metode Rapid Visual Screening (RVS), didapatkan skor akhir +1,4. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Earthquake is a sudden shift in the soil layer below the earth's surface. When this shift occurs, a vibration called a seismic wave occurs. These waves propagate away from the focus of the earthquake in all directions in the earth. The earthquake resulted in loss of life and property, as well as damage to infrastructure. No exception to buildings. The effect of earthquakes on the vulnerability of a building can be identified using the Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) method. This method is guided by the FEMAP-154 with a cut-off-score of +2.00 so that if the score is below the cut-off-score, the building has a high level of vulnerability to earthquakes. If the score is above the cut-off-score, the building has very low vulnerability to earthquakes. The Education Service Building of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Unsoed is a building for educational needs located in Purwokerto, Central Java. This 3-story building was built in 2020 which is intended as an educational facility. Based on the calculation of the vulnerability of a building to earthquakes using the Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) method, the final score is +1,4. |
