| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Pemberian Tepung Daun Kelor (Moringa oleifera) Dan Minyak Sawit Dalam Pakan Terhadap Persentase Karkas Dan Non Karkas Domba”. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dan minyak sawit dalam pakan terhadap persentase karkas dan non karkas domba. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Juni sampai dengan 07 Agustus 2020, bertempat di Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Materi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu ternak domba ekor tipis jantan berjumlah 18 ekor umur 7-8 bulan, bobot badan rata-rata 20 ± 2,4 kg. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan dasar silase rumput (40%) dan konsentrat (60%) (2 bagian dedak dan 1 bagian bungkil kelapa). Pakan imbuhan yang diberikan yaitu daun kelor berbentuk tepung dan minyak sawit. Penelitian menggunakan metode experimental in vivo dengan rancangan acak lenkap (RAL), 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu R0 = pakan kontrol (40% silase rumput + 60% konsentrat); R1 = R0 + tepung daun Kelor 2 persen dari BK pakan; dan R2 = R1 + minyak sawit 0,5 persen dari pakan. Variabel yang diukur yaitu persentase karkas dan non karkas domba. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rataan persentase karkas pada R0 (42,41 ± 4,20 %) ; R1 (41,73 ± 1,89 %); dan R2 (42,24 ± 1,90 %). Rataan persentase non karkas pada R0 (10,05 ± 0,43 %); R1 (11,03 ± 0,44 %); dan R2 (10,23 ± 0,90 %). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan daun kelor (Moringan oleifera) dan minyak sawit dalam pakan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap persentase karkas domba dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase non karkas domba. Kesimpulan penelitian pemberian tepung daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) sebanyak 2 persen dari BK pakan dan minyak sawit 0,5 persen dalam pakan tidak meningkatkan persentase karkas tetapi dapat meningkatkan persentase non karkas domba. Non karkas yang tertinggi terdapat pada domba yang mendapat tambahan tepung daun kelor 2 persen dibanding domba yang mendapat minyak sawit maupun domba kontrol. |

Inggris) | The research entitled "The Additional of Moringa Leaf Flour (Moringa oleifera) And Palm Oil in Feed on Percentage of Carcass and Non-Carcass in Sheep " was carried out to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera leaves and palm oil in feed supplementation on the percentage of carcass and non-carcass of sheep. The research was conducted from June 27 to August 07, 2020, located at Experimental Farm Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto. The research materials used were 18 male thin tail sheep aged 7-8 months with the body weight average of 20 ± 2.4 kg. The feed used was the basal feed of grass silage (40%) and concentrate (60%) composed of 2 parts of rice bran and 1 part of coconut meal. The supplementary feed given were Moringa leaf flour and palm oil. This study used an in vivo experimental method with a Completley Randomized Design (CRD), 3 treatments and 6 replications. The treatment given was R0 = control feed (40% grass silage + 60% concentrate); R1 = R0 + Moringa Leaf Flour (2 % DM feed); and R2 = R1 + Palm Oil (0.5 % of feed). The variables measured were the percentage of sheep's carcass and non-carcass. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by an Honestly Significant Difference test (HSD). The results showed that average percentage of carcass yields were 42.41 ± 4.20 % (R0); 41.73 ± 1.89 % (R1); and 42.24 ± 1.90 % (R2). The average percentage of non-carcass were 10.05 ± 0.43 % (R0); 11.03 ± 0.44 % (R1); and 10.23 ± 0.90 % (R2). The results analysis showed that the Moringan oleifera leaves and palm oil supplementation in feed had no significant effect on the percentage of sheep carcass. However, the supplementation had significant effect (P < 0.05) on the percentage of non-carcass sheep. The conclusion is that the Moringa leaf flour and palm oil supplementation in feed could not increase the percentage of carcass but could increase the percentage of non-carcass sheep. The highest non-carcasses percentage was found in sheep that received additional Moringa leaf meal compared to both sheep receiving palm oil and control sheep. |
