| Judul Artikel | FACTORS INFLUENCING UNEMPLOYMENT OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES IN INDONESIA 2006-2020 |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tingkat pengangguran merupakan masalah serius yang dihadapi negara-negara pembangunan khususnya Indonesia, meskipun beberapa tahun terakhir ini tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia mengalami penurunan. Namun penelitian sebelumnya hanya fokus pada tingkat pengangguran di beberapa daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengangguran lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Indonesia 2006-2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan analisis datanya menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan pendekatan data time series tahun 2006-2020. Implikasi penelitian adalah: 1) terkendalinya pengangguran lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan karena berdampak pada kenaikan upah minimum, sehingga Perusahaan perlu menekan biaya produksi. Untuk menekan biaya produksi, perusahaan akan mensubtitusi barang dan jasa produksi menjadi lebih murah dari sebelumnya. Sehingga pengangguran lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan tidak akan meningkat. 2) Agar angka pengangguran lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan menurun. Perlu pengarahan dari Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan setelah lulus ada pilihan langsung bekerja atau membuka usaha baru. Dengan dibukanya usaha-usaha baru dari lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sama halnya dengan dibukanya sektor pendapatan riil baru, bahwa usaha baru tersebut akan membutuhkan lebih banyak tenaga kerja, maka pengangguran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan akan berkurang. Batasan dari penelitian ini adalah peneliti membatasi variabel bebas pada upah minimum, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi. Namun faktanya, banyak variabel lain yang menyebabkan tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan SMK di Indonesia. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Unemployment rate is the serious problem be faced development contry especially Indonesia, although the recent years rate of open unemployment in Indonesia has decreased. However, previous research only focus on unemployment rate in several area. This study aims to factors influencing unemployment of Vocaational High School graduates in Indonesia 2006-2020. This type of research is quantitative and data analysis uses multiple linear regression with a time series data approach from 2006-2020. Research implications is: 1) to control the unemployment of Vocational High School graduates because the impact of increasing minimum wages, so the Companies need to reduce the production cost. To reduce production cost, the companies will substitute the production goods and services to be cheaper than before. So the unemployment of Vocational High School graduates will not increase. 2) In order for the unemployment rate of vocational high school graduates to decrease. Need direction from Vocational High School after they graduates there is has option directly work or open new bussines. With the open new bussines from Vocational High School graduates it same as open new sectors of real income, that it the new business will need more labor, then the unemployment of Vocational High School will decrease. The limitation of this research is that the researcher limits the independent variables to minimum wages, economic growth and inflation. However, the fact is that many other variables make high unemployment rate of vocational High School graduates in Indonesia. |
