| Judul Artikel | Pengaruh Pupuk Majemuk NPK dan Kompos Sisa Tanaman terhadap Produksi Cabai Merah (Capsicum annuum L.) di Tanah Ultisol |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Cabai merah merupakan salah satu tanaman sayuran penting di Indonesia. Produksi cabai di Indonesia belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan, dimana rata-rata konsumsi cabai lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah produksi. Sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan produksi salah satunya dengan cara ekstensifikasi yaitu dengan perluasan areal tanam pada lahan marginal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk majemuk NPK terhadap produksi tanaman cabai merah di tanah Ultisol, 2) mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos sisa tanaman terhadap produksi tanaman cabai merah di tanah Ultisol, dan 3) mendapatkan interaksi yang tepat antara pupuk NPK dan kompos terhadap produksi tanaman cabai merah di tanah Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screenhouse Kebun Sayur Organik Pager Gunung, Desa Melung, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas, serta di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian berlangsung pada 03 Februari-13Agustus 2020. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini yaitu kompos sisa tanaman (0, 1,5 , dan 3 kg/tanaman) dan pupuk majemuk NPK (0, 6, dan 12 g/tanaman). Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan penambahan pupuk NPK berpengaruh meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai merah dilihat dari variabel diameter batang, serta berpengaruh pada hasil cabai merah dilihat dari variabel bobot buah per tanaman. Perlakuan kompos berpengaruh meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai merah dilihat dari variabel diameter batang, jumlah bunga. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Red pepper is an important vegetable crop in Indonesia. It was found that production in Indonesia was not able to meet people's needs, as evidenced by the average consumption of red pepper which is higher than the amount of production. Therefore it is necessary to increase production. One of them is by extensification, that is by expanding the planting area on marginal lands. This study aimed to 1) determine the effect of NPK compound fertilizer on the production of red pepper plants in Ultisols soil, 2) determine the effect of compost crop residues on the production of red pepper plants in Ultisols soil, and 3) find out the right interaction between NPK and compost on the production of red pepper plants in Ultisol soil. This research was conducted at the Pager Gunung Organic Vegetable Garden Screen house, Melung Village, Kedungbanteng Sub district, Banyumas Regency and at the Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The study took place from February 3 to August 13, 2020. The research design used was a Complete Randomized Block Design consisting of 9 treatment combinations. The treatments in this study were the application of crop residue compost (0, 1.5, and 3 kg / plant) and NPK compound fertilizer (0, 6, and 12 g / plant) on red pepper plants. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the addition of NPK fertilizer had an effect on increasing the growth of red pepper plants as it was seen from the variable stem diameter This also affects the yield of red pepper in terms of the fruit weight variable per plant. Meanwhile, compost treatment was found to have an effect on increased red pepper plant growth seen from the variable stem diameter, and number of flowers. |
